Mech would have run it hot, no doubt. I've got it on the Sig 100 at 12W and it's using only 3V voltage. Working fine since I asked my question..

I always found the limited airflow made my KFLs max out around 15 W. I always used drippers for anything 20 Watts or so. My Helios bit the dust a few months ago on me and I haven't bothered to replace it. Anyone got a favorite dripper they wanna suggest?

I just made a nice big order of HHV and got some new flavors I haven't tried. Oompa, Temptation, and some others...I forget.

My favorite is and probably always will be the Veritas. It's a bit spendy and worth every penny. Easy to build on, holds lots of juice, great flavor and doesn't leak.

I didn't realize it would takes so little to make wick. That does sound better... thanks for letting me know. I am not sure which wick material I will prefer yet. I am getting two kinds via folks on here. I will try both and see what I think.

A cotton ball will make tons of wick. Once you make the coil, it is just a matter of changing the wick. If you go the cotton route, one ball will probably make you about 10+ wick changes?

Magma took over as dripper of choice with a lot of us. Great for single and/or dual coils. The Veritas is another that has a good following. If you want to get a little spendy, April is really enjoying her Achilles.

Yes I fell asleep. I also fell asleep for The Walking Dead. I work too hard or something. Weird. But I'm finishing up the tree today and my decorating is over. Son and I cut it down yesterday, with a little help from a guy whose wife offered his services. The smallest tree we've ever had...6.5 feet...but it's so darling! I love this tree, and no ladder or chairs needed!!!

Is 56 and a two veteran of vaping too old to have a vapegasm? Pirate's Booty in the Rose with a 1.3 ohm coil is AWESOME! Don't think PB has ever tasted this good!

Now, off to feed the yeasty beasties the three loaves I baked last night sold like hotcakes and I have no bread for toast in the morning.

28ga. fan here also. Not nichrome but kanthal. Nichrome is fickle and will pop on you if you ramp it up too much too quick.

I can taste the nichrome.

I chickened out. I ordered 100ml of Tuscan Cocoa and a long drip tip.

I don't have much money and don't want to order 12mg nic so I'll wait until I can just get the small bottles that I can adjust settings on.

Lion, our experience with drippers has been any of them that have direct-to-coil airflow (not just air that comes in on the side of the barrel) are the ones that produce the best flavor. Here are the ones we know of (they can all be single or dual coil)...

1) Plume Veil (leaks like a pig but produces incredible clouds due to the complex and abundant airflow system)
2) Viking (Retic found this on some website but we really don't know anyone who has used one)
3) Magma (Popular with the Army)
4) Veritas (Also popular in the Army and very leak resistant)
5) Achilles (April got this and loves it, though I think it might be single coil, also very leak resistant)

You have clone options as well. Ask anyone for sourcing for whatever one interests you.
