I think we can safely say that Bridget was wrong about the men on this thread not helping with Christmas tree setup. I helped with the tree inside and did all the outside stuff myself. So there! :p

I purchased the tree, brought it home, purchased the lights for said tree, and will be assembling the tree this week between a myriad of Christmas parties, etc.

SO yeah, at least some of us are working diligently to be festive.

Good Morning, Army.

Good morning!

Hubby does help with the decorating here for Christmas. He helps with the tree, drags all the boxes to and from the basement, and is in charge of all outdoor decor.

In my defense, I tell him every year I don't care if he does outside, it's cold and just uses electricity, but he does it anyway... Idk I think all his bah humbug talk might be a cover up hahaha

The new balcony view. Today I cancelled one of my phone lines and other services. Still a lot of basement clean up to do, and the progress is so gratifying.

We don't do outside lights. I have so little free time that I don't want to spend two days of it hanging outside lights and taking them down.

I've thought about paying someone else to do it, but that just seems like the final step of "mailing it in."

I don't usually..but with Kim and Larry living here with me now,..(my nephew and his GF) I was talked into it. They both have kiddos.
I think that is why I'm in the Christmas mood this year for the first time in over 10 years. I didn't even have a tree for two years..lol

Rick is actually thinking about putting up outdoor lights this year  LOL he can't complain about the cold

Kids make all the difference. It truly does help, having them around, to get into the Christmas spirit.

It's a sad situation ..guess that's why I caved. Both are divorced and share custody of their kiddos. I never had any because wifey was too into her career. Oh well, guess it wasn't meant to be. I really enjoy kiddos,..they tend to bring the inner kid out in me. That's really not very hard to do though..lmao

Good morning...Robin I love your tree....LA maybe you can pick one up on sale for next year at the end of the season. Chak that bread looks so yummy...I need to start baking bread again now that it's colder, otherwise don't like the oven on much. Got another good night's sleep and ready to tackle the pile on my desk today...everyone have a great day.

So, with the success of the 26g 0.7ohm spaced coil on one of the KFL's yesterday, I decided it was time to experiment further. I built another KFL with a 1.1ohm 26g spaced coil. It JUST fits the deck width.

Packed with Rayon, loaded it up with Heavenly Tobacco, set to 12W (3.6v) .. and MAGIC!!

I remember again why I liked HT even though it isn't a NET.

Mornin All... :)

went outside for a moment and looked over at the car and somehow the windshield wiper arm was pulled to its "open" position ( pulled away from the window)

wonder why someone would do that?? weird....

Geopositioning signal for the home planet. :matrix:

The compulsion to cave to the demands of sweet, helpless females has been bled out of me. Wifey can wait for her own RSST. Builds character. ;)

But..but...how is that accomplished? I've caved to women all my life. If there's tears added..I'm hopeless!
