Sitting on solid ice- pack at 16°F in Beckley WV. Shipping has already called to ask if I can go back out tonight. My boss is probably clueless about any of this.....
I refused to drive a few times when I was on the road, mostly when it was blizzard conditions on Donner Pass.

No load of anything is worth a life.

Bronze, oh that explains it. It is a Ragdoll. I know what they are. Ragdolls I thought weren't supposed to get tangles. Anyway, I LOVE THEM. I've never had one, but I have always wanted one. (when I was younger) The only reason I never got a Ragdoll is because of the expense. No cat is worth that kind of money, to me. No way I could bring in another cat right now. One is plenty, two is pushing it...for me. Besides, I have two dogs to take care of too.

They are not your average cat. They have their peculiarities. My mom always told me her Ragdolls would follow her around the house. Yep! Sure enough. Ours does the same thing. I'll be cleaning the house and this thing follows me around room to room. They love playing. They tear around the house like a raped ape but keep doing it their entire lives. Regular cats stop after about 5 years old. She's 15 and is nuts still. They are a highly affectionate breed and unafraid of people. Totally unafraid. They'll walk up to anybody. They don't care. I can see why cat lovers like these cats. But thousands of dollars? I don't think so. :)

Our big cats favorite thing to do is get right in front of where your walking and lay down. He has had a broken leg from it and still does it every day. I have tripped over him more times than I can count. My mom sprained her ankle tripping over him. If I'm busy doing housework I will carry a spray bottle with water in my belt, it's the only thing that will make him go find something else to do.

Same with our cat when she wants to be fed. She walks a foot in front and keeps looking back to make sure I'm keeping up. Then she'll throw herself in my spokes on purpose. Why, I have no idea because she gets hurt every time. I've sent her across the room more than I can count and she keeps coming back for more.

Yep, Harry is too big and heavy to send anywhere do instead we usually get hurt. I did step on his leg about 8 years ago after I lost my balance and was trying not to face plant.

It's like a game to him. I guess he is paying back the humans for his rotten firs few months of life. My mom and grandma were at a yardsale and a car drove by and sailed him out the window without really slowing down.

It took my mom an hour to coach him out from under the people's trampoline, they had it buried to where the top was level with the ground and the kitten at the time went in the hole and refused to come out.

He was half starved, had fleas and looked like he had been in a war zone.

Now he is just a huge pain in the ....
