We finished baking 250 hotdogs in buns (individually wrapped) earlier than expected. I was thinking we'd be all day at it and we were finished before 11 AM!!!

Well thankfully I have not lost power completely. Lots of people have lost power in East TX though. I don't know how many times the power blinked, or dimmed, since this morning. It shut off my computer, and then it wouldn't boot. Thankfully I have a boot disk, and got things back to normal. What a PITA. It is lovely outside though. Still some light snow, and maybe more on the way. It is close to 4 inches out here in places. Needless to say I am homebound for sure. But at least for the time being, I still have power. The last hour or so, the brave have ventured out. Some crazy folks are not being safe, I'll just leave it at that.

Hang on KK. We are supposed to get 8 - 12" tonight and tomorrow. I have no idea why we are getting slammed. 8 - 12 will shut us down for several days. depends on the temps that follow. Ran out to the store and the place is a zoo. Milk and bread 90% gone. I'm sure the shelves are picked clean by now. Possibly ice too and that's when the power goes out.

So retic and BK...the LaQuinta in Metairie is good? April and I just want to be sure it's in a good area. I gotta make reservations today. My girlfriend will not be going to NOLA. She's studying for her CPA exam and said it requires 35 to 40 hours per week study time. But Calve and I are still coming down.
Just watched Todd's review of the istick 50 , it looks great for the price point . Absolutely flat line on the scope at 3.9 volts and above , it uses PWM to step down below that but for what I'm looking for , eliminating lag on heavy gauge single coil builds in the Roses and Veritas it looks perfect , I want to push more wattage on those .
