Quick question, more wraps higher ohms? Less wraps, lower ohms?

More wire equals more ohms. So:

More wraps, wider wraps will up your ohms. On your Kayfun I would recommend 28 gauge, 10 wraps on a 2.0mm diameter. That will give you 1.5 ohms. Kayfuns and P3's like 1.5 - 1.8 ohms.

Thicker wire gives you less ohms (at the same length as thinner wire). Does this make sense?

Net Neutrality = you pay tax for their information gathering. Proposed BY FCC as currently constructed for Obama Central Committee.

Which is all a smoke screen anyway. By Executive Order, the buying / selling of bullets of any kind just became illegal in the United States Socialist Republic.

WHAAATTttt ???? no way...

Total sense. I removed a few wraps. It was at 2.1 and I now have it at 1.6. Using 30 gauge. I'm not worried about the gauge or the diameter. I figure if it works. :)

I get you want more surface area to vaporize the liquid. I am not too worried about that. As long as I get some vapor, I am good to go. ;)

Enjoy that fresh coil Robin! What would tighten up the air flow on a kayfun? My sister builds the same coil as I do, 7 wraps of 30g for 1.8 ohm, rayon wick. I'm thinking possible gunk buildup inside? Maybe a boil? Yes, she checked her AFC, wide open.
Probably some gunk in the center post , pipe cleaners are handy for that sort of thing .

a good lancing will take care of that boil....

More surface area comes at the cost of longer heat up time , shouldn't be a problem with 30ga and a P3 though .

 I actually haven't been using the P3 lately. The battery issue is bugging the hell out of me. It might be that the coil was getting ready to die. I don't know. It was eating batteries like crazy, even the new 2200 mAh AW that I bought from ProVape. I might try it with this new coil.

its your magnetic personality causing fluxing in the coil which is inductively induced that creates eddy currents which causes the mod to experience false signals and therefore compensates by increasing current flow thus resulting in excessive battery consumption...
