Worked with a guy who had three girls (aka, slobs). He didn't mess around with them. He'd tell them to clean up their room and call him for an inspection when they were done. The rule was if he found anything out of order it got tossed in the garbage. He didn't care if it was shoes, clothes, makeup, textbooks, etc. Didn't matter. Said it was bloody the first time but a lot easier after that. Oh, and he caught his wife going through the trash the next morning fishing it back out so he took it all to work and threw it out in the work dumpster. The girls had to re-buy anything they wanted with their own money including their textbooks. :)

do like they do in the military.... when one messes up the whole platoon gets dinged, eventually the rest of the platoon makes the mess up "realize" his wayward transgressions aint nuttin like peer pressure ;)
Yup , scar them for life so they stick you in the cheapest , nastiest , old folks home as soon as they get a chance .

Wow, that's harsh! But it worked I'm sure. I hate his habits mostly for his future wife..

Exactly. My mom taught me and my brother how to treat girls when I was growing up. Watch your language, open doors, be nice to them, etc.... She was determined not to raise animals for boys. Not sure how well it worked but she tried. :)

He was not a liar but I still did not believe him. I checked with his daughters (one who I also worked with). They confirmed it. He absolutely threw out a bunch of makeup, brushes, clothes and yes, textbooks too! They clearly loved their father to pieces but they also feared him.

My mom has been gone for 13-1/2 years and to this day I still ask myself, "What would mom tell me to do", anytime I contemplate doing anything. I am my mother through and through even though I'll never come near being the person she was. She was my compass then and now. :)

You've outdone yourself, Chak! LMAO!

One minor correction -->>> The hair is silver. But if Hula is lurking in these parts, that description might net her too. ;)
LOL, thought you might like that... About the hair, if I remember correctly the last picture I saw from your trip to Canada showed you with red hair.

Anyways, good to have you back with us. I'd join you with a beer, but it's a bit too early here yet.

We just got a wrench thrown into our RL works - the domestic help just said she's only staying till the second of the month, this Monday. Said she gave Mama notice last week through her hubby (who was here helping in the garden for a day), thing is, he doesn't speak Thai very well and something got lost on the relay back to the maid. Mainly that Mama Chak asked that the maid wait till we found a replacement first, to which the hubby said, OK, but the clause apparently didn't make it to his wife.

And we have company coming of the 5th!!! grr :grr:

Took mom to the stylist today and dropped her off and told her she could do anything she wants for her birthday and I would pay for it when I picked her up.

I love it! Since I have worked for a stylist, I got to see a LOT of different colored hair. :D I do like the fun colors!
