Enjoy that fresh coil Robin!

What would tighten up the air flow on a kayfun? My sister builds the same coil as I do, 7 wraps of 30g for 1.8 ohm, rayon wick. I'm thinking possible gunk buildup inside? Maybe a boil? Yes, she checked her AFC, wide open.

Probably some gunk in the center post , pipe cleaners are handy for that sort of thing .

Yup, I'd agree with that, boil, or a hot soapy soak and either pipe cleaners or a dental brush through both the center post and air intake holes. :2cool:

Good Morning everyone.
This is so much nicer than the snow falling again outside my windows.. I'm supposed to drive 30 miles to watch the boys' livestock show this afternoon but I may sit this one out.
Good Morning Army. Off to Wal Mart, then Post Office.

Since I'm old enough to make mistakes;
Bridget, I like brunettes. Been married to one for almost thirty years now. Always been partial to brunettes, even the moody ones. But you have that sunny, upbeat, positive appearance that goes well with blond hair. You do blond well, and should stick with that.
now I'm in trouble, so I better get going........

I do blonde well because it is/was my natural color. DH prefers the blonde as well, but he doesn't have to sit in that salon chair for 2 hours every 6-8 weeks to maintain it or dish out the cash... And it causes lots of damage to the hair. You're not in trouble, I think most men prefer blondes. :) I might dig up my HS sr pic and post it later.

do like they do in the military.... when one messes up the whole platoon gets dinged, eventually the rest of the platoon makes the mess up "realize" his wayward transgressions

aint nuttin like peer pressure ;)
Nothing like a good blanket party to straighten someone up... ;)

Well, you got your dad's hair (or lack there of) and his chin, but you got your mom's eyes & nose. Beautiful picture of the three of you!

Boys like Blondes. Men prefer Brunettes! They are in denial if they say otherwise. ;)

I think you look great either way, but I agree with Dusty on the camera angle and the blonde pic. :)

Good morning y'all! Sam, your mom looks awesome! Good for her!

Bridget, I like both! I think you are beautiful no matter which you pick, but I could definitely see you with brown, with some soft blonde highlights or ombre. There are a lot of ways too do them so they grow out nicely and don't have to be redone but every 4-5 months.

I'm thinking I need to dye my hair as well. The grays are popping through like crazy. I fully expected to have some gray in another ten years, but apparently the hysterectomy/ menopause has changed the natural path of things..

Y'all could just let nature take care of your hair color. :2c:

I started getting a few gray hairs in my late twenties, and early thirties. I tried coloring my hair. But my hair grows like weeds. The roots would show in just a few days. Then it started drying my hair out. The final straw was when I became allergic to it. I did highlights for a while, but even that I became allergic to as well. I hear the stuff now isn't as bad. I don't care to try it out. My hair was naturally brown. But I had blonde, brown, dark, and red hairs if you examined closely. I was born dark headed, then went ash blonde, then it started getting darker as I aged. I was almost a dark brown/light brunette in my forties. Then the gray took hold, and never let go...lol. So I have been through a natural progression, in full circle. :2cool:

Papaw, my son is a strawberry blonde too! We have two strawberry blondes in the family. Most are auburn though, that are red headed. My dad was a red head, and his mom, and my cousin....an on it goes. We have a lot of Scot-Irish on my dad's side. I had a neighbor once, who was from Ireland. (1st gen) Well she came over here as an adult, and married an American. That girl cracked me up. Anyway, her mom came to visit from Ireland of course. She saw my son, and she said he could easily pass for a full blooded Irishman! (you would NEVER in a million years see he has Cherokee from both my family, and his dad's too....LOL) He burned in the shade of a big tree when he was a baby, if that tells you anything. No sun touched his lily white skin. Now he is in Alaska. When he comes home in the summer, it will be brutal for him.

Nutty day. Woke to the news that a neighbor died Thursday while visiting his friend in Texas. He lost his wife two years ago today to breast cancer. Now he's dead. Same age as me. Don't know the cause. Found him in a pool. I didn't know him well. Just as a neighbor I'd talk to at the parties and wave to when he walked his dog. Know his granddaughter. She worked at an eatery we'd frequent. Sad. Then heard a cat screaming in the garage. Was stuck in the engine compartment of my truck wailing its head off. Turns out to be a black kitten with a pink collar. So trying to find the owner. Has to be a family with girls. Who else would put a pink collar with a heart shaped charm on a kitten? Can't be far away either cuz the kitten is clean and smells like an indoor cat. And with snow on the ground how far could it have traveled. Got a neighborhood email out and I suppose I'll put flyers in the mailboxes. She has to belong to someone nearby.

Bronze, sorry to hear the sad news.

You mean grown men don't doll up their female kitty? They are just letting people know it is a girl. (some people can't tell....but if you know what you are looking for, it is quite easy, unless they have been neutered) You will probably find the owner very soon. They are probably frantic running around looking for her. When they don't have the collar, and smell fairly pretty...that is when you are in trouble. That is how I got the youngest cat ya know. Either she was wild, or somebody dropped her off. She is still here, several years later.
