I remember my grandmother and grandfather had their own twin (?) beds in their master bedroom. I remember thinking that was odd, when I was a kid. Still kinda do.

My stepmom and dad had separate rooms, thought that was odd. Still kinda do.

Reading all of your posts, I guess I understand a bit better. I am with April, I like having a warm body next to me. Even though we don't go over the center (gotta love a king size bed) it is still comforting to hear someone next to you.

Legend is getting most votes (sorry, Robin) just divided on wick material.

Did not care much for 'Prometheus'. I found it a slow prequel to another well known space horror (trying not to give anything away here). Noomi Rapace is actually growing into an accomplished actress. I've liked her since the original "Dragon Tattoo" trilogy (I can deal with subtitles if it's worth it). But the rest of the cast, including Charlize Theron, were sleep walking throughout the movie. It's as if most of the actors/ actresses were simply there for a payday. The FX was entertaining, but special effects alone can't carry a movie. If you like the deep-space horror genre, it is watchable. But nothing special in my book.

How about Mama?
She is too. I'm at the skin Dr. now waiting for a walk in appointment.
Good thing the Dr. is a neighbor of ours. I may be able to cut into the line. (Took a loaf of bread and some Nam Prik Pao to their house before I left.... ;)

I liked Prometheus.... altho it was kinda slow getting to the point as to where it came from... it sure beat Aliens Requierum ... that one was a waste of film

Heh. My mother had a sure-fire country gal cure for all poison ivies, oaks, etc: stand in a bucket and she would pour/soak / rub you down with Clorox bleach!!

I kid you not. It worked, too, after the screaming stopped! :D

Also made one very careful about avoiding those plants in the future!

Yup. Beds are meant to be shared with a cat or a two. View attachment 457533

Or even a dog, if you must.

Mrs. Sirius and I had almost 6 years together...We only had a one bedroom apartment at the time..She said I snored but I never heard me snoring..She was an awful liar,..clicked her nails when nervous,..was a bathroom hog,..and didn't eat Chinese food.
The not eating Chinese food was the last straw..We split in '94 and moved on. ;)

ETA
All that was jkn around..We had a great marriage until I went into OTR trucking..She was alone a lot. I don't blame her one bit actually.

I couldn't follow it that well. The alien was kinda cool though.

Mama Chak set up a wall of bolsters to kind of muffle the sound and deflect stray kicks (works both ways).

Legend well steeped is my go to HHV now...I'm savoring my one well steeped bottle while the other one sits all alone in the dark for two to three more months. I have so many really good juices right now it's hard to keep up with them all..lol
How did you like the "Riddick" series with Vin Diesel?!?..I thought those were pretty good Papaw.

Y'all seem to have missed my upping the ante by throwing PB and Gaia into the pot... Guess I'll just have to see your Legend and raise you some 23 week old DF. Working on a flush... ;)
I see your DF and raise you 12 week old HA in the Aqua V2 and 12 week old TC in the Magma , I call . :)
