Went to bed at 11:30 last night. Woke up at 2:30, but managed to go back to sleep after a while.

Woke up again at 4:30, wide awake. No sense in laying in bed when I know I won't go back to sleep.

This happens all the time now. When I was young, I could sleep like a baby. No more.

welcome to the over 56 y/o group.... ;)

something odd is going on.... when I drive I-10, I see trucks hauling some "weird" looking modular "units" going west....
they are either very tightly shrinkwrapped in gray film or they are grey fiberglass with no visable seams... these "modules" are approximately 35-45 feet long by about 8ish feet high and maybe 8-10 feet wide. The edges are all rounded and the basic shape is rectangular ( kinda like a 18 wheeler trailer ) the really odd thing is that there are no windows or "doors" but a single opening about 6' in diameter with a flange ( like a pipe flange that is bolted together). Some of these units have A/C units on top and what looks like the GPS dome seen on 18 wheelers... and heres another odd sighting... these are seen at different times, never together with the shipping of the "units", but they are spheres at about 9-10' in dia. with 3 openings at 120 degrees apart, the same flange and diameter as the openings on the units and they are also "covered" with this grey film or fiberglass coating.... normally I see 3 of them on a flatbed trailer at a time...

anyone else seen something like this while on the interstate??

wish I had solid works up and running... I make a model to show yall what Ive been seeing...

had a weird thought... all this energy is being spent on finding another world similar to ours to possibly colonize....
imagine how much stuff would be needed to "colonize" an "empty" planet... all the mines and factories needed to just create the basic substances to create a city to live in.... it would take a dozen decades just to get started....

Look how long it took this country. First English settlers were in the 1580's. Here we are 400+ years later and there are still people who use an outhouse.

No idea, do you think it's anything to do with private business going into space?

no idea, but there may be a possibility of the modules being used as training for something of that nature... the A/C units on top makes me think its for usage where an atmosphere is present on the exterior of the module. "Unless" the A/C units are just a disguise for something else.....

There are so many things that make me go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm these days, I must sound like some kind of running engine. ;)

It sure would be interesting to have one of your famous dash cams showing these strange modules.
