Morning Army!

After working in the garden yesterday, we have 6 big garbage bags of leaves twigs and a huge bundle of weeds that need to be taken out to the road. I'm ⅔ of the way through doing that and needed a break. We can't just leave them in front of the house they have to be taken to the corner of the big street 150 yards away. Three trips so far.

What's all this talk about dying? If I had my druthers, I'd like to go quickly without much suffering.

Ive come to the conclusion that Im not going to die... after all the stuff that has happened to me... and Im not dead yet... even tho there has been several things that would take people out of the living situation that have occurred to me... there must be something in my future that needs to be accomplished and it requires my presence... no idea what it is tho... and the bad part about it, Ill do it and never know it happened and then keel over... destiny/fate?? do we have control over it? I dont think so... we think we make decisions to change things but what if that decision we make is the path we are supposed to take... we all end up at the end of the path eventually... hmmmmmmmm

History lesson for all the newer folk. GT and Bronze both racked up 10,000 posts each in the first volume of HHV. I was there at the same time, and haven't got to 9,000 yet! LOLOL. Let's see....Bronze's classic post - went something like this "Yeah, I don't like other threads because all they talk about is their lawnmowers" snicker

True story. And Eleanor was the one to tear into me. :)

Why, yes. Yes I was. :D

HIYA, GT!!!!

Put the tree up a couple days ago......

Awwwwwwwwwww, there she is! :hubba::hubba::hubba:

Oh a kitty cat ornament how cute. Wow, it looks so life-like! :D

:lol::lol::lol:

Not that we get a say in it, but I'd like it to be drawn out a bit. Maybe a week or so. I want everyone to have a chance to say goodbye to me, whisper secrets in my ear while I'm in a comatose state or something dramatic like that. I'd like my girls to hold my hands when I leave this world. To be surrounded in love. I'd hate to just drop dead in the living room and have someone have to find me and get all freaked out.

Me too!! I need someone to know right away, so they can take care of the cat . . . :cry:

Damn cat wont quit whining for dinner. I get so tired of this animal. Anyone want a cat?

Uh huh. :sneaky: You'll be devastated when she's gone.

Yes, that is my little angel. I need to take some more photos. Her winter coat is starting to get thicker now. There is a huge difference between her summer coat, and her winter one! She is much happier in the recent weather temperatures. Not too cold, certainly not too hot. She turned 16 months old today!

16 months yay teenage years - fun fun fun :D She is a sweetie :) My boy turned 2 on Halloween just passed .

Im easily amazed I suppose ;)
Or easily amused??? [emoji23]
No grieving here. I don't even want a funeral or a memorial. Cremate me, toss my ashes over a either the Chesapeake or the Atlantic, and just go on living. I've been given a full and blessed life, I would hate to interrupt someone else's.
I want a party. Music and dancing and singing. Laughing and having a good time like everyone would be if I was there. Margaritas anyone? Lol

Heya army,
Just got back from hospital,Son's blood count was down this morning so they started giving him blood and plasma IV.He was on third unit when I left.
They got him in for a bone marrow biopsy this afternoon -should have some of the results in a few days.
His spleen is enlarged a bit from the anemia and has headaches from the anemia also,but the headache is not as severe as Tuesday when he went in.
Took the laptop to him-that kind of perked him up some.
I'll be going back to see him in the morning as I have weekends off from work.

I wont be surprised if you get four days on a full charge.

Well I've put a little over 11mil of juice through the Lemo 2 at 23 watts and I'm still 3/4 charged. So 4 or 5 days will be easy. I'm still thinking hard about this tank. Everyone on the thread for it likes it a lot. Look at the deck on it.

Yes, I guess she would be considered a teen already. She has tons of energy. While I was reading your post, she was trying to entice me to play. She was also slapping me with her paw. My son said you should have NEVER taught her how to shake. She gets wild with it, and does it over, and over. Sometimes a claw gets you on the arm. She doesn't just hold it out there for you. She wants to meet you with it 90% of the way. (or more) At least she will lay on the floor in the evenings some. A few months ago she wouldn't even do that. She was on the go all the time, unless she was in bed for the night. Your dog is a cutie. I bet they would probably like rough housing together!! I kicked a ball for my dog. She loves that, but doesn't want to get out of the way, before I go to kick it. I was throwing the ball, but then I messed up my shoulder. It is either the arthritis, or a tendonitis type deal. So for now, the kick ball game will have to do. :smokie:

DD, how old is your son? I know how difficult this is for you and your wife. I went through a serious hospital stay with one of mine when she was 3. Thoughts and prayers going out for your family.

Hahaha - yep I can relate the pawing can really hurt, my boy does it all of the time! Not really part of the handshake trick so I am sure you would have got it whether you taught that or not . and yep she is already a teenager, but the lunacy generally peaks at 18 months and goes on until 30 months LOL.

I am sure our two would rough house, it is the husky way LOL.

Good Morning Army. Judy wants to take her dog, Remi, to PetSmart for bath / manicure /etc. this morning. Which means when we get back, I get to wrestle Urlacher into the tub for his bath. No way Urlacher goes into a public place. Yonjuro, I am speaking of our dogs. Like kkay's, these are half German Shepherd and half Australian Shepherd. Only our boys are about 20- 25 pounds bigger than kkay's female. Remi is a gentle, loving dog (except cats.) Urlacher hates the world. Which is why Remi gets to go uptown for professional treatment while Papaw has to wrestle Urlacher into the tub.

Good Saturday Morning Everyone. Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)
