From a quick look, the Pro has faster processor, more RAM and higher storage options. If you want a tablet for browsing & reading, you’re not likely to need those things.

Only the Pro has options for a physical keyboard and pen stylus.

Higher storage is needed if you plan to have a lot of photos, music or videos stored on the tablet. Also if you want to install a lot of apps, especially games.

I’ve been using a lowly iPad Mini 2 for almost 3 years now. Mostly for browsing and for Kindle reading. I have one beloved game. It’s plenty fast enough, but I recently had to remove some apps I wasn’t using. It has only 16 GB of storage.

Lastly, even though they feel lightweight, they do become heavy the longer you hold them. Laying in bed to read your arms and wrists will feel it. I bought a beanbag style lap log and I rest the Mini on that. May sound silly, but it helps and I love mine. It’s soft, but the buckwheat inside it holds its shape and the tablet doesn’t sink in too far.

My older, large iPad is much heavier than the Mini. I really needed some kind of stand or the lap log when I used that one.

Thanks for the info. I did not realize that the Pro was the only one that could accept the Apple keyboard. That's a must for me, as I simply cannot abide a touchscreen keyboard. I'm too old and set in my ways, and I need that tactile feedback.

Good morning!

@Pappy i love my hand me down iPad. I use it around the house and when traveling. It’s old and doesn’t have all the new options but it’s very handy for watching movies, reading books, playing games etc...

Just checked, it’s the Air2 with 64 GB.

Lol. These MVNOs just buy minutes from the carriers and resell them to their customers. Another way the carriers can expand their customer base. Spectrum is a monstrosity so I'm sure their relationship with Verizon is quite sympatico. Spectrum is basically Charter Communications and Time Warner Cable. They have to be the largest cable/internet company out there. Or at least close.
Close . We just bought sky so I believe we are the champs.. even without sky.. I don't count att Since they are stitched with different varieties of service .

Those things were a great invention for traveling with kids.

General what do you run your kayfun at resistance wise...?
I do temp control these days with my JAC Series-B DNA 75w/Kayfun Prime so I'm making stainless coils at about .4 ohms. I still run my Kayfun Mini V3 on my Radius in power mode with a kanthal coil (28 gauge I believe) and burn it at 1.5 ohms.

Were you affected at all by the mass Verizon outage?

Hmmm... so these alternative carriers are a little like clones? [ducking and running——->>>>]

Says no problems, but scroll down. I see some problems going on in this link.

I see problems listed in the last two links.
