hmmmm... just back from the mall ( was looking for standard black 501 jeans for work) and no one! carries them
Its a frikkin mall with 60+ stores... and no Levis jeans... all sorts of Designer "jeans" tho...
all they have are those thin denim stone/acid/precutworn looking things... and expensive too.
for example... ladies cut-off shorts denim blue with wear holes and threads hanging off the leg holes 79$
when my cut-offs got to that point it was time to trash them... imagine all the money I could have had if I saved all my trash jeans...
seems as if stores want to go out of business....
lol... got an idea... walk into the store with well worn jeans and trade for a new pair that way you get rid of the old ones and you get a new pair and the store sells the old ones for a serious profit.
and I really dont want to order online... especially clothes. The wifey orders stuff ( clothes too) from online and she sends 75% of it back since it wasnt what it advertised as... wrong size wrong colors etc...

As one who’s had way too many all-nighters in a row, the pain on waking feels more like a side effect of sleep deprivation. You sleep so soundly that you don’t move around enough. Therefore, pain.

Roughly 2 - 3 years ago, I found a whole table full of Levi’s in the men’s department at JC Penny’s. There were 501’s and 503’s in the stack at a 30 - 40% discount. I bought two pairs. Ladies jeans were back to high waists from the 90’s and mostly skinny jeans. Even in my youth, high waisted pants were not good on me and uncomfortable too. Hint: Don’t fall for those skinny jeans. It’s a trick. NO ONE really looks good in skinny jeans.
Might be a JC Penney’s around you that carries 501’s? Maybe you can call first before wasting more time.

Kohl’s has Levi 501 original fit jeans on sale today for $39.99 online. Probably in the store too, but again, maybe call first.
EDIT: You could order them online to get that good sale price. Then if they are wrong in any way, take them back to a Kohl’s store and possibly be able to exchange them there.
Today’s feature in the Government Oppression category. The state of Florida actually had to pass a bill to allow people to have a garden in their front yard. A couple had to dig up their front yard garden in 2013 or face daily fines when their local govt banned front yard gardens. They had that garden for 17 years at that point. Their back yard doesn’t get enough sun.

This doesn’t end the insanity though. Your HOA or other group can still prevent you from using your land to grow food. Why? Because vegetable gardens don’t look pretty enough.

HOA rules, fine by me, don't like 'em don't pay your money to be bound. Seventeen years ought to get a grandfather exemption. BUT, the government ought not consider that it has the power to dictate the civilized uses of your land. I have railed about vapers griping that their ox is gored while all the other "good ideas" (loss of freedom for the greater good) go unmentioned. Freedom is is a concept not a cherry tree orchard for picking.
Yes! It’s particularly appalling to me that any such bill had to be passed to secure a right that should never have been impinged in the first place. The extent of overreach boggles the mind, because no one bats an eye, much less raises an outcry.
Making holes in freedom sinks the boat for everyone. I’m all for reasonable rule of law. It seems that reason left the building long ago. I hang onto the hope that people will open their eyes.

anyway... I got my new jeans on the way home from a run... there is one of those outlet malls just off the interstate so I decided to give it a shot... and WALA!!! a bonafied Levis outlet got my 2 pair of black and 1 blue 501s for 40$ a pair ( same price Amazon offers)....

Your local government seems to have a stranglehold on property! You’ve posted some craziness from them. This one tops the list. Or at least it ties with them forcing you to tear down a building that only needed a new roof.
