I ordered six quarts of 5W50 oil yesterday at 9.30AM from Walmart, no shipping costs. I got a confirming email telling me it would a minimum of eleven days to get to NoWhere, KY. Today twenty-six hours later, FedEx shows up with the oil. This is stunning because I have rented a PO Box and acceptance service in a town twenty miles away. I do this because generally FedEx and UPS don't have me on their GPS and mail theft is frequent along the back roads. I couldn't use the acceptance service, I guess because, it being a synthetic petroleum product, I might be bomb maker or some such.
I almost ask the guy how he found me,

Afternoon...… Got to the DMV at 8:05 to find a dozen people in line. Must have been waiting for them to open. But they had all the stations open so it was only about 10 minutes or so. Found 3 six packs of my beer at the store. :thumb: Bought a mix-n match six pack as well. Two each of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Guinness Blonde and two Clear Sky cream ale. (local micro brew). And I picked up a bottle of St. Bernardus Abt 12 Belgian Abbey Ale. Which I'm just finishing. It's a brown ale and I have to say I like it.

Picked up a bottle of Piraat Belgian Ale last week. Think I'll try it today. Rated as a strong pale ale which isn't what I prefer but I'll find out.

give us a review when done ( after the first beer... cuz after 3 everything tastes good) ... ;)

also... whats the guinness blonde like???

LOL! Don’t operate any heavy machinery today. :)

Seriously, I’m glad you’re still okay. Do you know how long the pathology reports will take?

I had an ear patch long ago for vertigo. It was scopalomine and it gave me hallucinations. I’m hoping that’s not what’s in your patch. That was an icky experience.

scopalimine... found in purple mushrooms found in cow poo in cow fields, a favorite food source of catapillars from Wonderland...

It isn't stopping with us, it rarely does. Severe thunderstorms, flood warnings, flash flood watch, tornado warnings, hail. Yes, it is become a once a week ordeal.

we are dealing with awesome winds today.... I was on the causeway ( that long bridge on lake pontchartrain) I put the car in neutral and "drifted with the wind" at 47 mph for a few minutes... it was... lets say, interesting :)

We got 4" this morning so far that we don't need. But I'm still here. :)

4" of what?? floods? tornadoes? or hail?
4"s of floods isnt that bad, and 4" tall tornadoes dont seem that threatening, but 4" of hail... now thats something to cause concern. :)

Well I am glad to know you are still here.
Are you on the map in orange or pink? Click on thumbnail to enlarge.

Here is a clip from Nebraska, if anyone cares to see it. Nebraska and several other states are on that spring forecast.

they opened the spillway from the river to the lake about 2 months ago... Lake Pontchartrain ( which is normally brackish (( slightly salty)) is now fully fresh water... AND about 30F cooler than it should be. Sooooo, fishing the lake will be a total bust this summer, and crab "fishing" will be a total loss along with the fall shrimping and speckled trout fishing ( which should be at a high point now but isnt)
and all the marsh grass is gonna die off and cause a mass nutria death toll...

I was just reading about a mass die off of young apple trees in the NE and down through N Carolina.

The grain and beef were nailed by floods. Calif produce burned up in the wildfires. And now Lake Pontchartrain seafood affected.

Yep. Food prices are going up.

That’s crazy. I don’t even want to consider how much avocados are going to be. I use a lot of oranges and lemons too.

Enjoy your feast!
