    Women are cruel.

I used to get a list and think I'm good cause I'd ask "is this it". She'd always say "yes".

Years of experience taught grasshopper "the list is never done" even when a woman says its done.

I'd be out knocking off the list when the call came with "can you stop at xyz store on your way to abc store and pickup a couple things".

Bone to pick ---> a couple things in the mind of a woman is never two.

For good measure, I'm almost home only to get rung-up again with that slow motion sweetsie higher pitched voice (Bronze and every married man knows the voice) "did you get McCormick Garlic salt". I pull over, pull out the list and say "not on the list". She says "yes it is, you didn't look" followed by "I guess you're not getting my spaghetti for dinner". Hmmm, back to store.

Bwahahaha...guess what? I don't do honey do lists anymore!!! Respectfully stated.

My wife, I am certain in heaven she is laughing @Bronze and screaming "it's all because of SMT I went first". ;)

@LAwaters, if she were still alive she'd answer your call to action with fervent gusto!

I'll take this a step further...

Woman's clean is never the same as what a man determines to be clean!

I always thought I cleaned thoroughly...however it is not the same as seen through the eyes of a woman.

And you women do know that to be the honest truth.

Example: My parents gave us their Kirby vacuum cleaner (mint + all accessories and there are many). Those things are built like tanks and work great. First time using it I'm like tool guy. I vacuumed the living room and I'm all proud at what I thought was a job well done. Wrong, my wife looked at the carpet then at me with "THE LOOK" (all men know the look), she shook her head, pulled out her silly little tiny toy mini Dirt Devil and proceeded to redo, on hands and knees, the living room. Then proudly says "nothing works like my Dirt Devil". Uh? Are you f-ing kidding me?

Again, grasshopper learned a couple more pearls of wisdom with women "some things are best left alone and the torture never stops". A husband can't win...even with right tool designed for the job! Guess what? I now use the Kirby. Ha ha, he who laughs last!

I should have gone first like @CMD-Ky posted!!! :w00t:

    Simple Rule for a Happy Life ;
Inside is Hers. Outside is Mine.
She would not know how to use the lawn mower (zero turn), cannot start the weed eater, has never worried about auto maintenance. The only thing she does outside is sweep the sidewalk and water her house plants when they are moved outside during the warmer months.
I only cook on the grill, don't even ask me to do dishes, and if I approach the laundry machines I am told "Just leave it there, I'll get it !" Sweeping and cleaning... I'll move out of her way.
Peace and Serenity. Because we stay out of each other's way as long as what's inside is hers, and outside mine.

And the garage. Leave my garage alone!

me and the wifey have an understanding... the backyard is mine and the front hers, the bathroom in the hallway is mine and the bathroom attached to her bedroom is hers, my bed room is mine and her bedroom is hers, the office is mine and her "work place" is hers, the rest of the house is "hers" ( kitchen and living room, which I have to keep clean.. to a certain degree)... as long as she respects my places and I respect her places.... no problem... and yes you read that correctly... we have our own bedrooms, and we both luv it... since I have such odd hours of work, sleep patterns would be so interrupted and broken neither of us would get any sleep...

and its been like this for 14 yrs... and we are still happy to see each other when I get home from work :)
    ( been married for 21 yrs too :) )

Might be. Still, the messenger may get slapped with a wet kipper. I think you might be overdue for that. We’d have to check the schedule. Let’s see what happens. :)
I have JUST the thing right here! Coming over!

More bad weather for the Central Plains today. Looks like a ton of bad weather on tap. Tues also looks to be bad here. I never thought I would be ready to see summer, but I am reconsidering.
Three years from now you'll be in a drought and begging for rain. :)
