It must be true that everyone’s baking bread right now. Nearly everyone is out of bread flour, even the mill I bought from a few weeks ago. Found a mill in central NC that still had some for sale. They are so busy that they need 10 weekdays to get to your order and ship it. They only sell organic, so it costs twice as much. Shipping is twice as much too for that cross-country journey. Our friend wanted to
buy this time and she was okay with it.
Going through about 5 lbs per week, between baking rolls for us and for J’s parents. Also for feeding the sourdough. I’d open a bread
shop after everything settles, but the hours would suck.
