This is what the iPhone Camera Settings do when you take a pic of a happy, sleeping black cat who is on a yellow sheet on the bed in a patch of sunlight.

So I've heard there is a place about 20 miles from here that is owned by a couple from Anne Arundel County (Maryland) and the place serves real MD crab cakes...
Saturday Night Eat Out at Home will be crab cakes to celebrate my birthday (tomorrow)

In case you don't get here tomorrow..

Wow! Doesn’t look like it’s a good thing to do to your microwave!

At that point before I moved I no longer owned a microwave. Still don’t use the one that came with the condo. That’s because I make my popcorn fresh on the stove now.

it may not "look" like a good thing to do, but its okay to do, all the energy is being adsorbed by the disc... its when the energy isnt adsorbed by what ever ( especially bad when empty or the material is totally dry) and the energy goes into a resonate rise situation and doubles, triples, etc. and reflects back into the magnitron, newer microwaves have a "door"that stops the hi energy reflected waves from going into the magnatron......

Well, that was a disappointment. Those "Crab cakes" were half bread filler. Not what I have known, growing up in a commercial fishing family in a commercial fishing village on the Chesapeake.
But tomorrow is another day, and I get to mow the lawn !

Well, dang! That’s too bad. It would be hard to beat the freshness you experienced, but at least it should have had more crab.

Back in the 60’s I tasted fresh crab from Maryland that we’d been out all day catching. Had some distant family that lived on the bay. Was fun catching, but not my favorite eating. You’ll have to find a source for the crab and have Mamaw recreate them for you.
