What’s the most unique pizza you’ve tried — and did you like it?

Mine was a pierogi pizza. Mashed potatoes, carmelized onions and cheese. I used to drive an hour to pick one up. :)

its a custom made pizza from Italian Pie pizza place delivered.... starts off as an artichoke spinich with white sauce then you add double motzerralla cheese, double itialian sausage, single ham, single sauted onion, extra olive, single crushed and overcooked in butter finely diced garlic, single dose of the other soft italian cheese ( cant remember the name of it ), extra spinich, single herbed ricotta, single sun dried tomatoes... it weighs in at 5=7 lbs, is about .75-1" thick ( depends on who makes it) and delivered with tip usually runs 40$... the wifey and I can eat on this monster for 3 days ( 1 dinner and 2 lunches)
and its called the "Connecticut" yup it has its own name. We call in and order the "connecticut", they pull up the previous order and remake it perfect every time... :thumb:

Oh, it’s so lovely and quiet outside here today. (Not)

Nearby neighbor has a big ol’ dump truck running. But it’s the generator that’s also running that’s LOUD. Been going non-stop since 7 am.

I need to find my headphones and get some good music going. I need to find my happy place.

Grrrr.

Noise cancelling headphones are the answer, pair that with a SanDisk mp3 player and you find Nirvana.

What’s he running the gen for?

It seemed like a nail gun of some kind. I couldn’t see even though I’m on the second floor.

Either that or he was jackhammering the cement he was pouring as quickly as it dried. I mean I know folks have been cooped up and maybe he was really bored. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We have a nice pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones! Sadly for me, they make me woozy — like vertigo. My in-ear buds work just fine for blocking all sound but my music.

Today I opted for our friend’s UE MegaBoom Bluetooth speaker. It’s 360 degree sound and waterproof. Rainbow colored too! A real party machine. I looked it up and saw that it can be mounted on a standard tripod, which I happen to have for my photography lighting. So I mounted it on there and loaded up Frampton Comes Alive. It was the 70’s ‘round here this afternoon!

Then I got the bright idea to pick up the tripod (with the speaker still on it) and use it as an air guitar to jam along with Frampton. We had some good laughs around here today!

Afternoon... Sleep 6 hours without waking up last night. So I was not motivated this morning. Went to Costco to look at TVs because I really want to upgrade to 4K. Ended up buying a few bath towels (3) and a pack of wash cloths and hand towels (2 each) for the bathroom. ($37) They're big and fluffy.. Grocery shopping done of course. Got the yard mowed which really needed it. Due to cooler temps and rain this week. After I cut the three bolt heads off the latch with the Dermal. Because I dropped the key in the grass and it went Twilight Zone on me. Couldn't find it even after I mowed. Don't know if I'll replace the latch and lock because the only thing of any value would be my lawn mower..

We had an electrician in this morning to install some lights. He told us about this lady he does a lot of work for who is a photographer. Very into the resolution aspects of images. She bought a 4K tv, had him set it up and gave him her big screen plasma. Couple weeks later she called and said she wanted him to take out the 4K and could she have the plasma back! They are friends, so he felt free to tell her no. The 4K was too intense for her! My friend said she just needs to adjust the picture settings.

Must be something about Saturday mornings and Costco. We don’t even need anything but our friend was wanting to go to Costco this morning! Just because it was Saturday morning and that’s what people do.

All the feline parents here know this tune only too well.

Please — no one teach my guy to play guitar. His a cappella is bad enough. :D

The other thing people do on Saturday mornings is open their garage doors and leave them open all weekend so we can look at each other’s crap.

was messing around on youtoob and opened up the daily topic folder and they had that explosion over in the middle east... as far as explosions, that was incredible, amazing how the simple act of taking apart a molecule and letting it recombine can produce such an effect. and the thing about it was, it was ammonium nitrate, a low power type of explosive chemical...
