So my candy strategy is different this year. One, I bought it this afternoon. As late as possible. Two, I bought half what I usually get. Three, hoping the kids show up tonight so I use it all up. If it’s getting late and I still have candy then I’ll double or triple what I give.

I have proven I cannot be trusted with chocolate in the house. It does no good to appeal to willpower. I have none. It’s taken me 63 years to admit it but I’m determined to whip this horrible character flaw.

We share the chocolate flaw. I’m hopeless. Also I’m impressed by your well thought out strategy. Hope it works for ya!

Maybe you can learn something from me. :)

Not only do I not keep chocolate in this house but I don’t even go down the candy aisle at the store. If I do, it’s all over for me. I am a very, very, very weak man as it relates to chocolate. I truly believe it should be classified as a narcotic.

I’m not trying to exaggerate. I’m not. But if I know there is chocolate in the house it consumes my mind to the point where I struggle mightily to focus on anything else. To make matters worse, once I start eating it, I cannot stop. It’s a severe malady. Probably not that different from alcoholism.

Well, if you start getting all sad and depressed about your lack of will power, I've heard that chocolate is good for making you feel better.

Did your candy strategy work? Or would you rather not say? :D

A nasty storm rolled thru about 7:30 putting an early end to trick or treating. That meant I had extra at the end of the night. Let’s just say I took care of it. :)

It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it. We shall speak of this no more.
