Absolutely beautiful! Did you lay down gravel too?

Now schedule that ECF party and we will all be right over. :)
Yes. Pea gravel. I had sand down but it washed away. The pea gravel not so much. Can’t use it this weekend. Rain forecasted thru Monday. :(

About a month and a half ago ago a real nasty storm came thru. My gutter guards were clogged from all the tree and pollen debris and were overflowing. So I open the garage door and I have this telescopic pole I was using to unclog them. I'm facing toward the outside looking up into the sky when a streak of lightning popped right in my sight line just above the ground. A real bright white light and a thunder clap that slammed my sphincter shut and gave me cardiac arrest. Within a minute my neighbors are texting me..."Did you hear that!". Uh, yeah, I saw it too. About three weeks after that I look over and on the other side of the neighbors house I saw a diseased red oak that leafed out but died right away. A big, giant red oak. Looks to be 30" diameter. He had a tree guy come out and give him an estimate to take it down. Turns out it was diseased but the lightning strike I saw hit that tree. The tree guy said the lightning likely hit it first and the disease finished it off...became too weak to repel the disease. He's probably right. Anyway. He took it down yesterday. Here he is taking down the last of the canopy. You have to have a screw loose to do this kind of work.

Definitely need those. Don't like the store ones. Trying to get ladies to make them from foam sheets.
I did that once many years ago. Even made the little ties at the corners. What’s tricky is getting good quality foam. It’s surprisingly expensive now too. I found that out when I recently re-did our friend’s favorite old couch. I couldn’t believe the price of the foam.

Supposedly there is a foam joint around here. Don’t like these store ones. .... sinks right thru them. They’re worthless.

For cushions, I like the stiff foam used as padding under a sleeping bag. Military surplus stores are a good source for this kind of stuff. Sometimes, you need several thicknesses.

Buy it from an upholstery shop. Most will order whatever thickness you want, if they don't have it already.

I had some old marine boat cushions. They used like 4 layers of thinner foam. Quite sturdy. Your .... didn't sink too far. But you could sit in them all day without your can getting sore.

This thread is still here! Can people still get HHV and did they ever release their original recipes of Legend, Serendipity and Pirate's Bootys. I tried everything to clone these and got close.
Hey Anthony, long time no see. Sadly, HHV called it quits awhile ago. Wanna say 2-3 years or more. And no, they never released any of their recipes. Have not heard a peep from them since they closed it up. I just never changed the title of the thread even though I should. They have no association with this thread anymore.
