Geez these blood tests are always fun. All my blood cell numbers are elevated. They always are. I had it further analyzed last Fall for mutations. There were none and the doc told me they’re of no health concern. So that’s what I’m going with. I have one liver marker that is slightly elevated. Doc said during the exam he may recommend liver monitoring of my liver because past tests show very elevated levels. This one is substantially lower (though still slightly elevated) so maybe he will call off the dogs. All other numbers looking good but I haven’t got the cholesterol numbers yet. Those will be high too but not off the charts. Isn’t everybodies?

Yes my cholesterol was up but not a lot. Told me to Watch what I eat and get more exercise. Not easy to change a life time if eating habits. BP was up for the first time so i go back Oct. 6 to get checked again. I'll drink less coffee that morning so it should be back down. Plus I'm trying a drink out that is claimed to help bring those down. We'll see.

Afternoon.... Hope everyone is having a good day. I'm liking the milder temps... I've started drinking two cups of tea a day. One before each meal. I don't do lunch. It's Hibiscus Tea with 1/2 TSP of Ceylon Cinnamon and 1/4 TSP of Cumin power. Plus a dab of raw unfiltered honey to sweeten a little. I don't know if it'll do anything for blood work or BP as it's said to help. But it has helped with digestion and feeling bloated. That alone is worth it. I had to get the Hibiscus tea and the Ceylon cinnamon from Amazon. The stores only have blended tea and no Ceylon cinnamon that I could find. The reviews on drinking it were positive. What the heck worth a try.

Evening... I guess we're getting some pre fall weather..... Spent was time at Discount Tire this morning. The original tires with 72k miles have ben replaced with Michelin Defender tires. My bank account didn't like it. But it needed done and it rides better. So I'm happy... Scruffy it not impressed.

I use Michelin Defenders, too. Last time, a pair of two went for over $500.

It is, now that you mention it. Especially since we seldom have weather that call for such a tire. Creature of habit, I guess.
Michelin always made excellent tires. I found they were always worth their premium price. For their upper tier tires anyway. But geez, the prices are thru the roof nowadays.

Grrrrrrrr!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

My iPhone 12 puked yesterday. $450 to repair it. Nope. Not worth it. Shopped for a new iPhone 13. Apple Store $600, my phone/cable/internet provider (Spectrum...I call them Rectum) wants $730. Rectum will do interest free financing. Apple will do no financing. Decided to wait till tomorrow because the i15 gets released tomorrow and they typically lower prices of the older phones at the same time. We'll see.

Made my last payment on my i12 less than two weeks ago. It's a 2 year old phone and it died. Not happy! I expect more from Apple.
