im tired from work...the 16/18 hr days are finally getting to me... the wifey is stressing about the knee replacement surgery on the 19th... and I stressing about the aftermath she will be enduring after the 19th...

other than that... Im okay ( I think)

Uhhh......OK.....ummmm.....she wants to flush me down the toilet?.......she thinks my socks smell like a dead animal? Oh God! Sure, honeysuckle, peonies and pine trees remind me of my nan's house and my home village....ah! I remember my grandad's smelly farm wellies smelt like rotten stilton when he removed them, but I loved him anyway. Sheesh, I gotta stop, I'm bustin' myself. ....roar....gasp.....

cats are strange... dogs are weird... ask the hubby about your socks...

stilton?? as in cheese?? I adore a good stilton cheese

Well, they didn't taste like Oompa, so maybe Temptation although I've never had Temptation yet.

LOL - uuhhh...actually I took courage in both hands and did the grand sniff of socks, shoes, I contorted my nose to "cat nose" and I can't say I noticed anything at all (thank the Gods!). It is definitely a cat thing though, and is designed to give me a massive complex! Get a good night's sleep Mr. Killer. As one of my Norfolk girls (Saint Julian of Norwich) said a long time ago "All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well"

Because it bounces off other stuff and travels farther than lightening.

Mama Chak was real nice today - after refinished the main drive she said, "Go get yerself a case of beer. You deserve it." So I went out and bought two four packs of Chang 500 ml. Could have gotten one more to make a case, but figured I should save that for another day.

Oh, we got the back driveway finished today as well.

8 week rehab for knee surgery. You're gonna have to wait on her for awhile.

Light moves faster. Sound is slow by comparison. The reflection of light caused by the electrical discharge of lightning seems instantaneous, while the sound of thunder (expansion /contraction of heat vs. cold) takes long enough to where the reflection of of sound (we call it "echo") seems to roll along.

I need more coffee now...

Good Morning Army. Capacitor in my AC crapped out sometime last night. About 5 or 6 years ago, a friend of my older stepson sold me a universal capacitor off of his truck for $35, and I installed it myself. This time - $225 for an "emergency" call from our service company.
But. Mamaw and Judy have cold air again. Now I can loaf around for awhile.
