I figured Papaw was on the road. I know he needs to know, but I didn't want to pull him in off a long haul to read this terrible news. He is going to be very sad indeed.
Oh I am just reading that he was here? Well I rarely look down to see who is on, and who isn't. Yes, I think it must've been too much for him. I had to read the news twice before it sunk in for me. I just couldn't believe my eyes. I thought it was a mistake.

We missed you too April. DD, I don't think any of us have fully processed this. It was very unexpected, and quite a shock for me. I just feel numb.
It's getting easier for me. Remembering all the fun and good times helps.

I was actually in Walgreens getting ready to pick up a prescription when I got a text from Bronze. I don't know how I was able to go through the motions of asking for it and checking out. I was numb.
So many memories are flooding in. They make me smile.

I know exactly what you mean. I have not been doing like Robin and thinking of the funny things as much, but y'all have made me smile a little. I am having a hard time just getting past HE IS GONE. So it is nice to be reminded of the funny things.
I was shocked too!!!!! I actually didn't remember him having my number! As soon as I got home and filled my tank, I called him back. Hell, I only said "This is Robin" when he answered. We must have talked for at least an hour or two.
We both kind of agreed that because he was on daily, we didn't think he was even really at risk of passing.
He was always here. We were part of his family.
@Robino1 when i read the first sentence of Lori's email a lot of people ran thru my mind as to who had passed. I won't say who ran thru my mind, but Chak was definitely not one of them (either were you), but i figured someone that had faded away over the years.
After reading that long ago first thread, there have been many that have faded away. I can't think who you were thinking of.

Oh that's quite the list! But yes, people along those lines. Not all were healthy and some struggling emotionally.
