Yes, 90 is still hot and humid, but so much better than 100-105!

My friend didn't get a road bike, the roads here are pretty rough, even paved ones. I've forgotten how to insert a pic, but I think this is what she got. Marlin 4 | Trek Bikes I'd probably still go with a hybrid. I'm sure I'll be looking at new ones today, dreaming..

That's because you are AWESOME!

I second that!!!!

Good Morning everyone!

@LAwaters you are awesome for sure! I missed the sale too. Just got busy and forgot. Sounds like you are pretty much adapted to life in the desert. It was as under 100 here for a few days, that's when the jeans come out! Humidity picking up here too as we start monsoon season. Those microbursts can cause a lot of damage quickly.

All this bike talk! Maybe I'll be braver and tackle to main roads to hit the park. Mine is a fairly old road bike. Snagged it from my friend when she started doing Tri's, she upgraded to a tri bike. Talk about fancy and light!

And right back at each of you. We have an awesome group here.

Bridget - that Marlin looks very nice! Mountain bikes on your roads makes sense. That suspension they have is a must!

April, tri bikes can cost as much as a car! My friend has a road bike that was just over 3k on a special deal. I'd have to be a lot more serious about riding to spend that much. And I am fairly adapted to life in the desert. I love it!

We saw this microburst on the way home recently.

I have never questioned HHV liquids, even the ones I didn't like, but....

This Atomic Grasshopper (Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream) has way too much Koolada. It's all I can taste. Maybe give it a week or two....
EDIT ; Koolada is an additive that produces a 'cold feel' in your mouth. It is used in ice cream and milkshake flavors.

Afternoon.......Dentist done and teeth are fine...Store run done and grass in cut....Todays food will be a repeat of last Saturday... Heated pastrami piled on a toasted cracked wheat bun with cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo. Corn on the cob, potato salad and chips. Beer is just a given.. :toast:... Could be a nap after that...:)

30 bucks to fix my bike! 15 for the new shifter, 15 for install. Now I just gotta go back and pick it up later in the week. That's the hardest part (finding time), it's 45 miles away.
Much better than buying a new bike! Congrats!! :D

Just my opinion, worth what you paid for it ....
Legend - as a former pipe smoker, HHV Legend is the most authentic cherry pipe tobacco vape I have ever found. It does require about four weeks of aging to get right. After that, the longer it ages the better it gets. I don't care for Legend until it has aged.
Dragon's Fire - Can be vaped right away, but it takes about two weeks for the chocolate/ honey aspects to truly blend with the tobacco to be complete.
Heavenly Tobacco - As a synthetic tobacco flavor, HT can be vaped right away. I have found that it has a nutty (as in almond) top note early on. After aging a while, it becomes sweeter.
All tastes are Subjective, your opinions may vary. But if it were me, I'd try the DF and the HT first, and let the Legend age for a month or two.
I am vaping some HT right now and liking it:)

Wonderful! And yes, the joys of living rural. Everything is a long, long drive away. I'm glad it was something simple. You have a great bike mechanic there - super reasonable rates.

Much better than buying a new bike! Congrats!! :D

    Wellllllll....... :)

    I know. I'm so bad.

Hi Army , It's raining here so I get an actual day off . No yard work or restaurant today . Just pure laziness , need to rewick a few atty's but I'm in no rush , nope , not in the mood for Giturdun . :)

A day of laziness can be quite productive. It's good for the soul. (And I'm still loving seeing you around here again.)
