Let's talk about dripping. Is there a class I can take?

Just kidding, kinda. All I have in my arsenal of hardware is my basic eGo C kit that came with 2 - 650 batteries, cartridges, 2 attomizers and a charger. I had added to that kit right from the start, 1-650 eGo Twist and 1-1000 eGo Twist. Now I have the 2 Vivi Novas sets. Those came with a tank set already assembled, drip tip and the 2 extra heads. (Although the one set was missing a head. Yes I notified the vendor and they gave me a whole $2.95 store credit!) Anyway, what I was trying to get at, do I have what I need to drip to taste?

Robin: Here's a link to a short video on dripping. You can scroll to about the 2 minute mark and it will show you the basics. He's using some kind of funky looking drip tip, but a regular 510 drip tip on a 510 atomizer is what I use. (There are also 306 atomizers and the drip tips for those slide down over the outside of the atomizers, but that's for another day.)

So I got a new batch of HHV today and they are a lot lighter in color than before. Anybody else notice this?

Many flavors darken with age. Over half of mine were mostly clear when I got them a week ago. Now they are a nice golden yellow. I like golden yellow.

Tell her exactly where to drip it axolotly. Draw a picture in her head. I'm staying out of it because too many people make for too much confusion. So I'll defer to you working with Robin. Thanks axolotly.

As you can see below, he didn't tell me where exactly to drip ROFLMAO! EDIT: OOOPS Attributed it to the wrong responder. My Bad.

Try this: MOV Phoenix Rebuildable Atomizer | Cheapest Rebuildable Atomizer on the market!. Dante turned me on to this a couple of weeks ago and it does not disappoint. It is cheap and perfect for changing flavors frequently. Quality build and nicely priced. Simple- just drip a few drops into the bowl and vape away. These are rebuildable so when you want to get into that, there is a lot of people on here and youtube that can help you with that. If you don't want to rebuild them, they are cheap enough to just replace IMO. Good Luck!!!

EDIT: While the Phoenix is a great atty and some use it more than I, I feel that is will just give you enough taste to see if you like a juice. But you don't really know a juice until you put it into a Nova or clearo or whatever.

I really do not want to buy anymore hardware for at least a little while. Already I know I am going to be spending more on fluid since finding this Nova!

Oh believe me I now know that juices taste different in different devices. When I finally caved and got the Nova, I was just using the cartridges that came with my kit. I got tired of filling or topping them off every half hour or so. My first vape with the Nova..... OMG! OMG! So THAT is what everyone is talking about! OMG!

Let's just put it this way. Up till the point that I got the Nova, I was still smoking 3 cigs per day. Cutting back from the 6 I dropped down to immediately after getting my kit. Yesterday, 2 hits off a cig in the morning, put it out. Finished it last night. This morning - 0 - ZERO! Yay!!! I love this thing!

Burl, she just wants to use what she has for sampling. :)

I must've missed that. My bad. Been reading too much and I guess I skipped that little detail.

The first time I dripped, it was on one of my old eGo C attys. While it worked, it didn't seem to do the juices any justice to me. The Phoenix changed my dripping world.

Sorry Robin, I will read more carefully from now on.

I dripped with a basic 510 atty. I liked dripping. Better toot. Just a PITA!!! Doesn't fit my lazy style too good. I'd rather not sample by dripping (if you don't drip normally). I'd rather sample in a small clearo so it is still close to apples and apples with a Nova. Dripping just magnifies the experience. Wish it weren't so labor intensive. Yes, someday I may check out a bottom feeder but not for awhile.

This is why I couldn't stay off analogs when I tried vaping 2 years ago. Dripping was the only thing that worked for me. Now I am sitting here with a bottom feeder loving life. :)

Thank God we have more than one way to vape. Makes a big difference to some folks.

Yeah - at the time the only other solution that I could afford was cartomizers, and they just tasted horrible to me. I just can't believe that I'm not smoking 5 packs a day because my VMOD 2.0 doesn't have VV! ;)

Good point!

Robin, if your drip tip has a big enough whole, drip it right through the drip tip into the atomizer. Or, you could drip directly into the atomizer, and then put the drip tip on afterwards (I have some drip tips with tiny holes).

Also, some people, after they drip and before they take their first poof will blow into the drip tip a few times to make sure the juice has reached the coils in the atomizer.

You should get about 10-15 puffs until you need to drip again (or until you get a slightly burned taste).

Ok....finally did it. Hmmm Not liking the juice at all that I just dripped. I did think it was ok when I was putting it into my cartridges. Tastes chemically to me. Bleh!

Just got an email.....my HHV has shipped! Let's see how long it takes to get here. I have a brand new Vivi Nova tank, that just came in the mail today, so my other one has a friend by it's side while I am sleeping. Or when I lay them down for a second, oh wait that may be too long.

You just ordered the stuff late last night. HHV with a new world record! Angil must be kicking some ...!

The juice will taste much different dripping! Much more pronounced taste, which might not meet the same flavor profile of what you are used to. If you are getting something that tastes burnt or just off, you might not have enough drops. Dripping is definitely something that has to be practiced to master!

If you have any friends that also vape, learning to drip is a must so you can sample each other's juices!
