So glad to hear you had a great morning, Iowa Gal; you deserve it, especially with your recent frustration. My aunt's BF just tried a number of those V4L pre-filled cartos and found them to be almost all dried out. Aunt Rose is trying to make her first convert, and she just asked me about pre-filled options. Her friend tried 3 5-packs from V4L. Do you think this was just an anomaly? This friend lives in Palm Springs, otherwise I'd show her how easy it is to not have to rely upon the pre-filled options, but she'll get there soon enough on her own. For now, would you generally recommend one of those two vendors over the other?

It's great you all are converting smokers to the wonderful world of vaping. No better way to help people than to save their lives. I think my Mom is still smoking, although she is real enthusiastic about vaping and tells me things are moving along smoothly. I saw a lighter under her porch chair, and she still has a gnarly cough, so I'm left wondering.

Speaking of Mom, I can't WAIT to eat ham at her house this afternoon. nom nom nom I'm busy with laundry, washing glass vases I found at the thrift store for my sis-in-law's baby shower centerpieces that they charged me with finding, and just too much stuff I failed to do yesterday. We have eaten entirely too much candy today. ugh

Becky..that is always a gamble with the prefilled. I don't think my dad has any problems as he vapes one of the most popular flavored cartos. I have had good luck with their customer service so be sure to have them contact them with the problem..hopefully they will be replaced. I gotta get a little nap in...ate too much and have to bowl tonight. Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter Sunday...

Happy Easter, everyone. Taking a few moments to pop in here and say HEYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

Been having some health issues and then a huge new project I'm working on with a very short deadline to completion. So, working early and late and coming home extremely exhausted, leaves little time for personal computing. Hit or miss on Facebook is about all I've been doing.

Anyway, I miss you ALL and hope to get back here a little more often as this project gets settled.

Hey Inspector Stan, I think that's a great idea for your brother-in-law, though I'm sad to hear he is so debilitated from epilepsy. How tragic and miserable for him and his family. Seems like your idea is a good one to start to see if he takes to it. Until you're sure about that - and that the equipment wont be ripped off by someone in the facility - then the batt/usb charger and pre filled cartos is the way to go. keep us updated on how it goes for him!

Thanks. Bronze recommended Johnson Creek VEA. They have the pre-filled but use an eGo type battery. Pricing for the cartos is better.

There are other options (one can get inundated with them), but the VEA has always received good press and the cartos are oversized and last a good long while. It's a simple design, effective, and rather stylish.

Being an eGo style battery, it would probably last the day compared to a 510 battery but since their kits and batteries are out of stock, that locks them out for any immediate use. I would have to have something by this Thursday and can get the 7's kit at a local tobacco shop.

There are other options (one can get inundated with them), but the VEA has always received good press and the cartos are oversized and last a good long while. It's a simple design, effective, and rather stylish.

We are trying to make this as simple of a process as possible. We have decided to use the 7's for now and see if it will work. I don't recommend using the corner store e-cigs as a regular item. The 7's disposibles are sold in some corner stores but not around here that I have seen. Their web site is here: E Cigarettes By Choice 7's
