Something about keeping a dog in a crate.

Agreed. I did a crate for 2 weeks while we went to work. One day came home and she flung her poop across the entire living room while in her crate. Covered in pee and poop I lost it and tossed the crate out. Next week I lost it and smacked her very hard when she peed all over couch. Never again did she pee in house.

I have crate trained all my dogs, I'm a firm believer in it for housebreaking. After 7-10 days they had it down. Larger breeds seem easier to housebreak. My little dog will have an accident occasionally if I'm gone too long, my labs would hold it for 2 days if they had to

Diesel loves his new Rawhide free rawhide, it made from vegetables and is 99% digestible. I've always given my dogs rawhide but I read yesterday that it isn't good for them. This is supposed to be a safe alternative

Yeah I can't give my little girl the rawhide...I use another kind of bone can't think of the name right now. Slim he is so cute...I remember how much work they are to train, but a good friend is always worth it.

It's so tough he's a stubborn little guy when he wants to be. He learned his name, come and sit in one day but if he doesn't want to do something he won't. He's got a little attitude lol

It's funny, dogs don't mind correction. A slap is no worse than what they expect from their alpha. So long as it is swift and reasonable it can be very constructive feedback for the wayward canine. They expect to have their boundaries defined by their pack leader. Absence of boundaries to a pack animal is confusing.

I know I've been a slacker and behind in my chores when I actually fold the clean towels that have been on the couch and put them away and my son looks on the couch and says, "Hey Mom, where are the towels?" Yes, son...I actually folded them and put them in the cabinet where they belong. I can't keep up and it's SUMMER and I've got too much OTHER stuff to do. Like lay out, and sit outside, and and and...anything but chores! Now I need to go wash up some dishes. But I don't wanna! WAHHH!!! I need an extended vacation................

Playa Del Carmen vape meet anybody?! I recommend Senor Frogs. Good view of the beach and it's denizens, and you can even watch the ferry terminal to Cozumel from there.

I second that recommendation for Senior Frogs. Cozumel and Chizen Itza (probable spelling error) are worth the trip. Love the Caribbean water....
