OK guys have a question... do you think using ecigarettes while on oxygen is dangerous? The hospital told my dad he couldn't use his ecig in the hospital anymore as he was putting everyone in danger. Now...it doesn't matter if he is or not as long as he is in the hospital he needs to follow the rules (although I'm having a hard time convincing him of that) but I'm sure if/when he comes home he may need oxygen so asking more for when we cross that bridge. Meeting with doctor at 7:45am....keep us in your prayers..

I don't know for sure but I don't see how it would be dangerous. Would the doctors pagers be dangerous if an ecig is? All it is is a battery  it's not creating a flame or spark.

If he's capable of getting out of bed, have him vape in the bathroom.

A really hot coil could ignite paper. I don't see how even if the oxygen concentration increased inside the vaping device an ignition would occur as AFAIK there are no flammable materials inside a device.

Unless He's using cotton wicks and even then chances are next to nil, but rules is rules. At home prolly no problem.

I did find some home oxygen safety tips that say avoid electrical appliances that produce sparks (electric razor, hair dryer, friction toys, remote control cars) etc 15 feed away. Now I have to assume my ecig produced as much spark as an electric razor??

Well, the e-cig does not create a spark during normal use. But when you blow an atty then it could. It could burn that rubber grommet too. I mean, it's probably low odds but... And you would want to use glass wicks (silica) and not cotton. IA, I think there's an "Ask the Experts" thread on this forum some place. Might want to try that thread and see what you come up with or at the very least start a new thread. Qualify your post that you're looking for people that know what they're talking about instead of blowhards like me who are just speculating.

Good Whatever it is in Thailand. Hope you didn't fall out of bed.

Not this time Bronze, just a little too many tall cans after the BB-Q.

Whatever it is, it is not a religious holiday or even a national one, however, we seem to be getting them quite regularly. I like to say it looks like a pre-election demonstration, but it's more likely to be a pre-coup demonstration and they had closed several roads around the area. (Which is only a couple blocks away from our school.)

As of today, some of the roads have been opened back up and some of the schools are back in session, including ours. I'm playing hooky today because I'd rather not be around if anything happens. (Besides that, I had a little too much to drink after the BB-Q yesterday.)

I'm still catching up on some of the pages, I had glanced through yesterday and now coming back to them again.

Thanks goodness, Joker finally put closure on that Kanger CoOp! He and the handful of members who stayed and pitched in to find MIA's and missing orders, deserve a badge or something. I feel sorry for the few who lost $$ in it, but Joker is planning something to help console them.

Jokers explanation made me feel better about the reasons why he did what he did. They are making it as right as they can!

HHV Vapemail arrived!

All the tobacco flavors taste the like molasses. I'll steep them for a month or so.
I do dig the Double D Watermelon so far. Quite subtle but pretty much perfect to detract from my sweeter fruit vapes!

I am disapointed in their dripping atty.
It looks old and oxidized and hits very harshly...and it's not the HHV juice that hits harshly, in a Protank it's very tasty!

Sunny...a month isn't necessary. Two weeks should be plenty. Get the caps and drippers off for a day or two then recap. Shake often. Lastly, be patient. Make no judgments until you get three mls down your face. With HHV, you have to vape it till you like it. Good luck! :)

It's not dangerous IG, chalk it up to ignorance. Sorry, but the healthcare community is not too informed yet.

Only if they disallow laptops and cell phones for the same reason. I would suspect that oxygen itself is more volatile than looked after batteries. My prayers are winging their way to you and Dad.
