Why do they put up with us? We're ugly, mean, and have horrible egos. :)

You just described all my previous boyfriends. So mimicking Edd...not all women put up with it. :D

And the chimp is not far off from my philosophy...which is relationships (to me) are like cost versus benefit ratios. I'm pretty damn happy....so a man can't come up in here with drama or lots of baggage or making me unhappy (costs) or I'm out. I didn't build my life over all these years to be made unhappy. My self esteem is secure, and my future is bright, and my son is happy. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Evening everybody! Got out of work early as there was nothing for me to do there except grade, hell I can do that in the comfort of my own home (as long as I'm not disturbed, that is...)

Is this a sad sight, or what? All those empty bottles.
Getting ready for the great juice mix of 2013!

Bet you can't tell who my favorite juice provider is?

It's honestly a special one:closedeyes:. And the forum's been lucky to enjoy it for a year - :toast: to you, RJ!

Finally caught up, but I'm in the midst of a doozy of an all-nighter (at a Greyhound bus station, at the moment...), so I'll save some of these multi-quotes for later. But, 'til then, I just wanted to thank you all so much for such wonderfully warm words in this catch-up - truly meant more to me than you know right now - and to send a belated congrats to RJ! Hope today's a pleasant start to a lovely week for all of you and that your Monday vapes are most magnificent:vapor:!

I have a question for GT. I just read in another thread that Full Tilt still owes you money. I'm in the same boat as you, as they still owe me $312 which I doubt I'll ever see again. How much are you owed?

I just read an article that states we should wait at least another year for the issue to resolve itself. They've been saying the same crap for so long, I really doubt we'll ever get paid.

BTW, do you know of any real money sites accepting US players right now?

They don't owe me too much, a little over $500. This might might interest you Full Tilt Poker Claims Administration

There were some places that would accept US players at one time, there probably still is. I was always scared to mess with them.

I always thought all online poker sites were rigged. I had so many bad beats, it defied the odds.

I'll always remember my worst beat which happened in Pokerstars. It was one of those big money tourneys they ran on weekends. Blinds were 100/200 and I had about 25k in chips, very near the bubble. I got 94o on the BB with only the SB and another player in the pot. Flop comes out 4 4 3. SB and I checked, and the other player made a position bet. The SB re-raised all in, I called, and the other player folded. He turns his cards over and shows J3o. He then got runner-runner Jacks on the turn and river and I got eliminated. :( I almost slammed my laptop to the floor.

Do you remember your worst beat?
