My son and I went to Gatlinburg in March 2010 for his birthday. My son turned 10 there. It was so much fun. We had a blast. We got a cabin with a beautiful view, a pool table, an outside hot tub looking out at the mountains. It was one of the best vacations I've ever had and son loved it. Are you sick of seeing pancake houses on every corner yet?
RJ you have me laughing my ... off with your pancake houses. We're with another couple and we have been joking about the pancake houses all day. They went to Pancake Pantry in downtown Gatlinburg yesterday morning. Supposedly it is a famous pancake house. Been around forever. They thought it was going to be real special. As they drove there, they passed like ten other pancake houses. They said they were laughing so hard they about peed their pants. Then we went out again today and they're everywhere so we laughed are asses off all over again every time we went by one.
It is beautiful around here.
Mr. Robin will probably work part of the weekend. Even though he works from home, he still is doing some overtime for the company. I got an email from a band interested in my vocalsso hopefully they can get me a set list and I can pick out some songs to practice. I told this guy that if there are a few that I already know, I will be willing to audition sooner. If there are not, I will need at least a week before auditioning. Last time I auditioned, those guys only gave me a day! I will not let that happen again.
Practicing/learning songs is what I hope I will be doing this weekend.

Just rocked my first coil on the KPT, 2.3 ohms, cotton wick (yarn), no flavor wicks necessary. It's vaping like a champ!
Congrats, Bridget! You ROCK! I like my coils a bot cooler 1.3 - 1.5 do nicely on Evods and Protanks.
I think using a 2 mm wick plus another half (making it 3 mm) was choking off my Vivi a little. I also loosened my coil a bit while using 2 mm and it's rocking tonight.
I also spent a good bit of lunch today watching DIY videos and reading the DIY forum.I think once I vape up some of this stuff in my vape box I may give it a go. I know I know, I said I wasn't interested...but I feel myself going into the hobby side of this and I'd really like to at least try. And it'll help during the e-pocalypse to have some good recipes under my belt. I will always buy HHV juice because there is no replicating that whatsoever. But I'm curious. It seems fun enough. There is a Legend recipe out there. I wonder what it tastes like?
What is everyone doing this holiday weekend? It's a three day weekend for us. I have no major plans except catching up on chores. I need to step away from the internet more so it won't all pile up on me.

Good luck with the band Robin. Our bosses do the same thing at the beginning of the year, they know we're going to be teaching a new subject or at a new level then only give us 24-48 hours to prepare, which is ridiculous!!!

Bangkok is starting to get that way with 7/11's. Yes, we now have them over here. It also reminds me of the last time I visited the states and my mom flew out to L..A. from MI. We picked her up at the airport and got a little turned around while exiting and started going in circles. Mom said, I know we're going in circles 'cause there's that damn Big Boy's again. All day every time we saw a Big Boy's it'd be, "There's that damn Big Boy's again!" in unison.

We did eat at one of the famous pancake houses not far from where we stayed. Once. Because it became a joke with us too and we actually would fake getting sick every time we drove past one. Too freaking funny. I just spent WAY too much time trying to find the place we stayed at...and I finally looked in our vacation file (yeah I'm ....) and found it! And lo and behold...I found a VIDEO of the place someone made. Seeing this cabin again brings tears to my eyes...the vacation was just that special to us.

Found it! We ate at The Little House of Pancakes. It was near the Alamo Steakhouse and Saloon which was right down the road from our cabin which was very close to downtown Gatlinburg and all the attractions.
I highly recommend Alamo Steakhouse. Yum!

Hey guys, I'm looking for some awesome fruit flavors and HHV seems to come highly recommended for fruit, so I plan to place my first HHV order this weekend.
Bah-In, Nice Pear and Crackberry are at the top of my list and I'll likely throw in a few others (any rec would be great). I'm looking for straight up fruits without any tobacco, cream or bakery added.
Mostly, I am curious about the recommended PG/VG levels on the fruits as far as flavor is concerned with HHV.
I've tried Pear (my fav fruit) from others vendors and while they are very nice (50/50 or 60/40), the flavor tends to be quite light on the tongue and leave me wanting more.
Any pointers?

WOW! I just read Scarf's slow cooker extraction method thread from start to finish. Great thread and I'm not sure why I haven't seen it before. Everything makes more sense now. She's been busy (as well as CarbonThief). Damn I'm slow....

The three you have sound pretty good, you might want to add Just Peachy and Parrot Head. Just Peachy is exactly what it sounds like, just peaches - Parrot head is Key Lime filling, flavor without the crust. There's also a new grape flavor I haven't tried yet. If you like strawberries & cream, Bleeding Heart is really good.
Ha ha, I know the thrill of victory is great! I believe I did the same thing. Maybe I'll have some time this evening too.
We're on batch number four for the popcorn. Caramel, Chocolate, Strawberry and another Caramel.

Well your hooked now. If your going to keep doing I'd suggset a magnifier lamp. I have this from another hobby I was into.
RadioShack Helping Hands with Magnifier : Magnifiers | RadioShack.com I put a pen light on it and it's great for adjusting the coil. For those of us that don't see like we use to.
David I am definitely hooked! My BIL was totally impressed last night that I did my own coil!
I haven't hit that age to need a magnifier yet, but I'm sure it's not too far away. Thanks for the info!
