You know, I started thinking about how old they are......neither of them are a year old yet! BooBoo Blue turns a year on Christmas.

Hi y'all , it's been a beautiful day here , low 70's and sunshine , rain for tomorrow so been making the most of it. Chak when one of us got hurt it was the sworn duty of the other 2 brothers to grab the injured one and get him out of earshot , said rule only to be suspended in the case of an all out brawl LOL !Growing up with 3 brothers no more than 2 years from one to the next, you can imagine my mom & dad had their hands full. Dad use to have a saying, "One son shear heaven, two sons shear bliss, three sons shear chaos, four sons shear mayhem!" I remember one time we were playing army in the back yard and with four boys the teams were always even. We made forts out of yawn furniture, covered them with blankets and were having a great time attacking each others fort. Then someone got the idea that we needed grenades so we were bust our brains trying to think of what we could use and someone else said, "Hey, let's use these!" He was pointing to a pile of cut logs. We picked out ones that we thought were as close to bottle grenades as possible, even though, most were a bit too long. After dividing them up, we set out to our forts and commenced heaving grenades back and forth. It took two or three logs to get the distance just right, so on the next toss I got ark just so, saw the log disappear through the blanket and I made sound effects like a bomb exploding! BOOM! All of a sudden we hear this siren like howl start up low and crescendo to a scream. My next youngest brother pops up and starts running to the house bawling. Ended up getting several stitches. Just one of many adventures in the lives of the Pfrang boys...
Not enough time in my day...EVER. Just so tired. I remember when I used to get free weekends when my ex was coming around every other weekend. Boy I miss those. I would get all my chores done, I got some downtime to myself, kitchen was closed...those weekend breaks just made me a better person and Mother. This is too much for one person!
That sucks Hula, we still have one open here and Kmart carries some craftsmen tools and kenmore appliances but nothing is like it used to be , kids can't even sing christmas carols in school without some idiot making a federal case out of it these days .All the time retic. I miss Sears - they just closed the one at Ala Moana center - tearing it down for Bloomingdales. Poo.

Bronze and Chak , I know y'all do business with NET.com so I'd like to get your opinions on the heat vs cold extraction process . I want to give WTA a shot and I'm thinking about getting unflavored WTA and getting an extract from NET.com . What I'm assuming is that heat extracts more flavor overall but the cold maceration is a more accurate representation of the tobacco flavor . I'm basing this off of what I know as a chef about making infused oils and vinegars . Please if anyone else has tried both methods from NET.com add your 2 cents as well .
Thank's y'all !
The only Heat/Cold comparison I did was with Bombay. I got a slightly stronger flavor from the Heat but it wasn't leaps and bounds. As for which is truer? I don't know what true is (don't know who determines what "true" is) so I can't answer that part. They both taste like tobacco to me.
Thank's Bronze , I'm thinking along the lines of heat changing the flavor , kinda like maybe comparing say raw garlic to cooked , both are still garlic but the flavor profile has changed . I don't know if that applies to tobacco but most herbs and plants flavor changes from cooking . Maybe it doesn't affect tobacco as much . I don't think I've told y'all that I used to brew beer for competitions and the temperature that you mash grains at is super critical , 2 degrees makes a huge difference . Sooner or later I will try my hand at making tobacco extracts but for now I'm happy exploring juices from vendors .The only Heat/Cold comparison I did was with Bombay. Sooooo my latest saga of the Provari......
When my grandkids were here, my granddaughter knocked my Provari off a table and the nova on it was crooked. Pretty much that nova was toast. The ProVari (RED) still worked but acted a bit not right. Weeeeell....I kinda broke the window on my other one (BooBoo Blue) and decided to put BooBoo Blue away for the weekend and use the other one(Red). Totally forgetting that I was going to send it in because of the flakiness.
Sooooo...I have a ticket in for the Red LED one and after I get that one fixed, I will be sending BooBoo Blue in for repair. BooBoo Blue is still being used with me being very careful (shaddup!!!) to not poke anything in the LED area.
*sigh* I'm such a spazzzzzzzzzzz![]()
3 times with BooBoo and 1 time with The Red.
Ok I'm probably just over ANALysing things LOL !I see what you mean Retic. I thought the flavor was very similar between Heat and Cold. The Heat was just slightly stronger...but not by a lot. Again, the only A-B I did was with Bombay.
