See, I knew I would get someone.. open mouth insert foot moment.

Nah...no worries. It didn't bother me in the least. :) But girls?.....uhhhh not sure what in the world I would do with a GIRL! *scratches head* And it's funny I always wanted one...and even cried laying on the sonogram table because he was obviously not a girl. But now? I can't imagine him being a girl! 8-o

Exciting homeowner news of the day, going to have to have the septic tank pumped out. Can't wait to see what that's gonna cost..

Around here, its usually $150-$300 depending on depth of tank, and if the lid has to be cut to access. Save yourself future headaches, and see if they can inspect your drain field, and possibly install a Zable filter in the baffle tee. That will nearly eliminate small suspended solids into the drain field that can cause drain field failure.

Also, check into local plumbing companies for THE drain and septic maintainer.

Roto Rooter- Bio One
Benjamin Franklin- Bio Ben

Bacterial treatments that do a MUCH better job than the enzyme treatment of Rid-Ex

Has any woman said you're sexy when you talk septic tech? :)

I was wondering about that the other day when you said the toilets were bubbling. I haven't had to do that yet. I'll have to hire a company with a long long hose though as they can't drive up to the tank. I've seen it done in my neighborhood. My Mom told me to use Scott Tissue and it does seem to help. Not the softest but we tend to use baby wipes....errr...for the final cleanup. Baby wipes are my little secret...until I heard Dr. Oz recommend them the other day.

Boys seem easier to me, but then again, that's all I have. RJ, I was disappointed when my 2nd wasn't a girl but I think God knew what he was doing giving me only boys!

Amen to that Bridge!

What they save in headaches, they make us pay for at the table, eh? Here is the meat supply for dinner with my Pride. Four adolescent cubs and me.

Fifty bucks. And that is with the ribeyes on sale! Of course, whenever the ribeye steaks are on sale, the butcher calls.

Even Dusty's grill will have competition this night! Got some nice asparagus and mushrooms to go with it. I may make some rice pilaf for those starch eating punks...

Well, we replaced the vents in the attic first, as that can be a problem, so I've read. Then pulled and snaked the toilet last weekend. DH talked to a plumber with 30 yrs experience this am, he said he'd almost guarantee problem is that the tank is full.

RJ, since there's only 2 of you it should twice as long for you to need it.
