Oh what a tipical Oklahoma day. Wind is around 25-35 mph. Around 50 degrees. Took my sweetie for a short ride. Wind was strong enough to cause some minor problems with breathing. Got home and gonna fill some things up, maybe a little mod work. Then BAM. power went off. Even I heard it when the transformer went south.
At least I got iPhones.

I was wondering why I ended up with an additional transformer on my Pole out front... ;)

Yeah my bed is just worn out. A couple of years ago I bought all new multiple wooden slats for under the box springs. I flip mattresses all the time and have done it multiple times. This mattress set is just worn out. It was my Memaw's years ago and when she died it was better than the set I had so I ended up getting it. My entire bed and dresser was bought for me when I was FOUR YEARS OLD. Although it doesn't look "kiddie"...it's just old. The entire frame sways. So the frame and mattresses and pillows all need replaced.

My head is about to pop off. When I got my new computer I never did setup iTunes that I used on my old computer. So today I tried. It's not accepting my username or password that I actually wrote down in 2006! I'm very organized like that. So I call and the computer voice dude said for $19 they'll help me on the phone. WHAT?!?! My son's iPod still works and he downloads stuff all the time using the same stuff I wrote down. So I give up...I hate technology. I didn't even want to use the stupid iPod but I figured I bought the songs on there so I may as well be able to access them. NOPE.

BK, you're on a roll.. lol!

Getting a few things done around the house. I was a bit presumptuous this morning, as the antibiotic side effects led to a 2nd call to the dr by late morning. Moving very slowly, as my head is swimming. I'll catch a break soon, no more worries from you all!

My KFM shipped this morning, so something to look forward to by week's end!

I dont know if they are still available but music CD's are a good investment, they last longer than 8Tracks, Cassettes, and Vinyl LP's... do they even still make record players??? I know for certain that the PlayStation3B can play music CDs, I did it about 2 weeks ago... call me old but I like looking at the grooves in a record... you can actually see where it gets louder....

OK trivia time... What is the longest song on a Vinyl LP record..... and what group did it???

My answer is YES. Or thick as a brick. By jethro Tull.

have you ever made it out to PaloDuro?? Kinda sneaks up on you... Flat unassuming terrain, and all of a sudden a Mini Grand canyon, took 2 days there to "just walk around a bit" it was so kewlll. The wildlife, the minerals, the plants, the fossils....( the ones in the rock, not the ones in the campers).

I've been trying to remember to visit the New Members section more often. I just really can't offer too much help. If it's forum related, yeah. Hardware or gear? Notsomuch. Just saying Welcome seems so trite

Sounds like its time for a new pillow. Believe it or not, the pillow can mean the difference between a good sleep or pain in the morning. I think I'm about ready for a new one myself. After sleeping on the amazing one at the hotel Saturday night.....mine is definitely ready to be replaced. Now to find those pillows......

You can come check some of mine out....

I actually have a thing for high quality pillows. I don't tolerate 'low performance' pillows.

low performance pillows??? ooookay but they just lay there... do explain please...

Sure. A good pillow is of uniform consistency, and provides support evenly in an amount dependant on it's firmness rating. It does not clump or get flat spots which can interrupt your slumber!

WOW.... I accidentally bumped the SVD up to 12.5W and took a good long draw off of it ( Legend 30nic 100VG) and OMG this stuff is REALLY good... and I thought it was awesome at 11W... was never tempted to go beyond 11W since PB at 11.5W was NASTY Burned Yuckyness... ( have a different set of terminology available in PM mode only)... looks like I will be changing batteries out 2X a day now

Sounds logical... but when you are sleeping, how do you know the difference?
