I have an almost full carton in the fridge. Not quite sure what I'm going to do with them yet. My original plan was to smoke them and not buy any more. I was thinking it would take me at least 6 months before switching to vaping completely. I'm happy it didn't take that long.

Well, if you don't have friends or family who could use them, you could probably give them to some homeless people. That's what I would do.

There is an indigent fella who parks himself up at a corner convenience store. He's been there on and off for years. He never begs or bothers anyone. He's really quite a pleasant person. I and others would often give him cigs or partial packs. He'd stick them under his hat. The other day, I stopped in that store and the clerk was talking about several packs of cigs they were going to sell for $2/pack they had on hand for a long time. I thought about buying them for "Al". If he had been there at the moment, I probably would have.

I will probably give them away at some point but right now... I kind of like thumbing my nose at them. ;D

Nice to know it isn't just me.

Do you use PG in your juice? I know the short stints that I used PG in my juices, I had tender throat and lungs in the mornings.

Regardless, the real deal is whether you wish to quit the cig or not. Not everyone has the same goals with vaping and cig use. It's your journey and your science experiment.

I have a plan in place. Keep my batteries charged. If we do lose electricity, my car has a full tank and is only a block away. I can charge any device in it. If worse comes to worse, take a couple of blankets and pillows, drop the rear seats of the Highlander and camp out.

If you don't hear from me Monday in regards to the top five list, it means we did lose power. Otherwise I will do my best to get it done.

Not really. I don't feel addicted at all. In fact, I don't even think about cigarettes beyond that one in the morning.

If I could only smoke one a day and not think about them, I'd probably never have quit completely. But I'm not wired that way. Several times I weaned myself down to 4 a day (morning, after meals and before bed). I spent every waking moment in between thinking about how long it was until I could have my next one.

It's been over 5 months since I had my last one. I'm happy to say that vaping has completely satisfied me and I have no urge to smoke. And I've been through some pretty major crises in my personal life in that time that would have made it easy to give in and smoke a cigarette. So, as long as I can vape, I think I can stay away from the smokes.

I'm a 70/30er but I was a 0/100er for awhile too and it made no difference.

As a resident of North Carolina, I can accurately say that most hurricanes are overrated. That's not to say they all are and that's why preparing is still adviseable. When I see my weatherman regularly say it will be sunny while I'm looking at the rain coming down out my window, I tend to prepare as if it will be worse rather than better.

Here's hoping that windbag Sandy ends up being all talk and little to no action.

That's exactly what I would be doing, as well.
