RJ- I've got a girl just like that at work also. But she's learned not to vent to me so much because I just don't listen or care! Sometimes it's tough to avoid her in such a small office but I do if she's on a rant.

Oh yeah, I've been ignoring her for about two years now. I'm talked about by her, but I don't have to listen to her. Of course all the OTHER workers vent to ME about HER. I told one girl the other day what part of "I don't care" do you not understand? I have a door, and I shut it often. I can't stand office drama. I have too much work to do. And my boss is about to give her a raise. It's truly pathetic...the squeaky wheel always gets the grease. I tell people I live in a Twilight Zone...it feels that way sometimes. I've got 8 years to retirement...

Ok got caught up a bit. First I want to thank Bronze for that amazing video clip. It made me forget about recent events, and proves that there really are decent good people in this world.
Second: For the person (can't remember who posted it) Now I got the worst craving for some fatback and eggs with a big bowl of sop/dab with homemade bippits.
Hi Army.

ESPN had been playing that video and I saw it again first thing this morning. It kind of made me feel good and thought it would be a good clip to share in the morning. The Cornhusker players and the cheering crowd made me feel as good as the little boy running for the TD. I don't do reality shows because they are more depressing than the news. It's nice to see people being nice to each other for a change. Yes?

Enjoy the fatback. ;)

All you have to do is tell them they can find all the symphaty they want if they look between s%*t and syphillis in the dictionary. LOL.
Works for me every time. Then they never bother to talk to me again.

I just tell them somewhere there is a scared boy sitting in a foxhole getting shot at when all they want to do is go home and see their mother.

Life is always worse somewhere else.

Amen to that. Amen. And bring em all home safe. And great them with open arms when they get here!

uggh.. I've learned I have to be kind to her, but when work isn't getting done I go to the boss. I hate doing that, but it has to be done when she gets in one of her moods. The drama is minimal normally now, but in the past (workers have moved on) it definitely wasn't. My boss is so tight he squeaks when he walks so raises are few and far between. Sounds like you're doing the right thing by ignoring her tho and letting the rest of them know you don't give a crap about the drama..

Well, I moved all my MBV juices except butterscotch out of my tackle box to make room for my HHV juices. Put them in a small box in the closet to save for an emergency, the zombie apocalypse, or the Seven Year Tribulation.

My tackle box is a little barren now, some Boba's, a couple bottles from another vendor... But I know for a fact these things are going to be packed with 30 mLs from now on.

My Mom is making BBQ pork chops tomorrow. I'm glad too because Dusty's talk of BBQ had my mouth watering. Her BBQ pork chops will melt in your mouth. Good thing too, because meat is sticking in my son's jaw expander! haha! Maybe he can manage to work it down tomorrow. He has accepted the fact he will have this thing for a while...and seems a lot more open to it. His panic subsided and me turning the key is going fabulously.

Havent' had good pork chops in ages! Glad you hear your son is adapting to his new million $$ smile gear, RJ. My daughter was so soar for months and a little bit after every check up and tweak. It's worth it in the end, though.

So now you're gonna drive me batty with BBQ envy, too, RJ?! Our grill broke down around three months ago. This is cruel and unusual:laugh:!! Bridget, you broke my heart a bit leaving out Huntsman from your order:ohmy:, but you'll LOVE what you got, and my wounds will heal. Hula will be here for the Huntsman snub sympathy, I just know.

You can use our grill, Becky - we got it years ago but hardly ever use it. Hey, yeah, why no Huntsman? Didn't notice that before.

Django Unchained..

Away from keyboard.

Back in a couple hours. ;)

How was that, Dusty? Looks interesting from the trailer.

So, philosophical question for the Army...

There's a restaurant in town that Mr Scarf and I like. It's overpriced but they serve probably the best pancakes around, including my favorite breakfast which is a cheese and potato pancake.

If you found out that this restaurant was owned by people whose beliefs and practices were contrary to your own, would you continue to go or not?

To answer your inevitable curiosity, it is owned by a philosophical-religious organization whose name I'd just as soon not type in a public internet forum because of their reputation for responding to imagined or actual criticism, in a, shall we say, energetic way.

If you're reading this post without formatting, it might not make sense.

If I stopped eating at places because their beliefs & practices were different than mine, I would starve to death here. If they start to pass out literature or preaching at the table, no, I would not put up with that. I would enjoy the pancakes and say a prayer for the owners.

Ok, Ok, I'll probably change all those to 15ml bottles! And the huntsman has 'grassy' in the description so that's why it's not on the list. Thanks to all for the input.
RJ- I've got 1 in ortho also, and no one here gives a hoot about eating healthy but me! My DH hasn't touched a fruit or veg in God knows when..
That palatal expander can catch a ton of food, tell him/her to eat whatever they want, just be sure to clean it out. A good rinse after eating can do a lot. My son (in ortho) got a bad hygiene report on Monday, which is totally embarassing for me, as I am a hygienist. ('tooth powerwasher' as metioned by others a few days back:D) I wanted to strangle him, he's old enough to do better!

As to the restaurant question above, I'd probably still go. But it's just good food I'm after..

I admit sometimes I wish I had gotten a smaller bottle of some juices. However, I have never run into that problem with HHV juices, except for maybe just one flavor, maybe two - Mallow Mint and Blade. I love mint, but somehow the mint in these just doesn't do it for me probably because it's such a mild mint flavor. I'm used to mints that clear your sinuses, i.e. Fisherman's Friend.

What I'm trying to say is that I don't think you'll be sorry if you chose to go with 15 ml bottles. If you don't like a particular flavor you can always up it up in the classifieds - someone will grab it!

Funny, I never got the grassy taste from Huntsman - it's one of my favs as well.

If this doesn't move you, you're not alive.

That was quite moving, Bronze. Thanks for sharing. You could also say the same for this video that came up on the list of related videos after yours finished. How they're related is debatable.

I don't discriminate against anyone based on race or religion. *shrug*

I will admit that calling Scientology a religion is a stretch.

A long stretch.. :D

It's been an awesome day. Awesome weekend really. Did yard work, drank beer, watched kid play. It don't get better (unless there were HHVites in cheerleader outfits prancing about).

Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2

Got you covered, Ice. Check out my previous multi-reply post. Not quite cheerleaders, but healthy athletic girls.

EDIT: Maybe I should just link to the video instead of embedding it.

Thoughts, please?

My thoughts are OMG i wish I was young again. I need to lay down and take a nap now and I only made it to 1:30 minutes in the video. I think much more and my heart would have given out. Breathing is a struggle as it is. Didn't need any more excitement. (but I bet I bookmark that).

See! That's what watching the news and network TV and constant commercials telling you what a pig you are if you don't use this and that and are bigger than a size 2, etc ad nauseum. Sickening. I applaud you all.

It does make me feel stupid and uninformed sometimes when someone at work brings up a news subject and I look at them with a blank stare. I've also boycotted this girl at work. Always the victim, needy, and causes all her own problems, and talks about it 90 miles an hour because I think she's on speed and anorexic, and doesn't do her work and bothers everyone else. Truly idiotic and selfish and someone that will bring you down with her if you let her. I've learned techniques...one of them literally walking away as she talks. Hey, I'm just trying to survive with my sanity intact. My patience with idiots has thinned with age. But cutting out as much negativity as I can was the best thing I ever did.

OK that does it - having the current John Travolta leering at me from the wall would really kill my appetite, LOL.

Thanks for all the opinions. I will continue to go there occasionally because of the pancakes and suffer the abundance of Tom Cruise and John Travolta movie posters ;)

But if anyone asks, it is the price that is REALLY keeping me away.

Well-aged Dark Horse with coffee this morning.

Do your episodes come in cycles, or does anything specific spark them off or is it an all the time misery for you, poor thing? Not a whole lot for me. Having energy crashes too regularly lately and am trying a TH medication to see if it will help. Can't afford to work less than fulltime. :)
