I had two catheter ablations done for a random pathway in my heart (Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome). I agree that the pain with the catheter was more in the thigh than when it reached the heart, although the pain from the actual ablation was much worse...probably some of the most discomfort I have ever experienced. The doc had to keep me awake to "map the electrical pathways" of my heart, and basically "set my mind at ease" by telling me it would be like having 25-30 controlled heart attacks while being strapped down to the table.....
I needed this done twice as the first doc was of the "take the money and run" variety, knowing that the Air Force money was coming whether he was successful in the ablation or not. The second go-around was done by an Air Force cardiologist, who was not getting any extra pay either way, and actually took the time to find the pathway and get rid of it. The second go-around was probably worse for me than the first, mainly due to the defibrillator making an appearance a time or three......
Anyways, I hope that everyone finds their tanks/cartos/clearos/attys full of delicious vapes to toot on today (

). Congrats to Robin on the new grandson, and a "hopeful" congrats to RJ on the arrival of your niece/nephew!!
Also, I'm sending many well-wishes and good karma your way, PicC. Here's hoping that your car is fixed before your legs fall off or are eaten by some jelly-loving gremlins (although I agree that the bike is great exercise, and at least you aren't having to do it as a smoker).
73, you remain in my thoughts and prayers, as I know is true for all of us around here.
And for all of those greedy, good-for-nothing, sewer rat CC fraudists.....may you find your shoes filled with scorpions, and your socks filled with spiders....and may you always wake on the wrong side of the bed!!!
