Good Morning Army!!
I woke up this morning to find that there was a Party going on last night. A few of my boys decided to check the Provari out. They all approved.

Grrrr on behalf of those in the midst of the traveshamockery

!
It looks like I'm going to me teaching
Of Mice and Men to a church group of senior citizens

. Pretty excited (and nervous) about that; I've never taught adults.
Thrilling Thursday vapes to all

!
Excerpt from a Scots poem by Robert Burns, "To a Mouse, on Turning Her Up in Her Nest with the Plough" 1785.
But Mousie, thou art no thy lane,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men
Gang aft agley,
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
For promis'd joy!
Still thou are blest, compared wi' me!
The present only toucheth thee:
But och! I backward cast my e'e,
On prospects drear!
An' forward, tho' I canna see,
I guess an' fear!
Standard English translation:
But little Mouse, you are not alone,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes of mice and men
Go often awry,
And leave us nothing but grief and pain,
For promised joy!
Still you are blessed, compared with me!
The present only touches you:
But oh! I backward cast my eye,
On prospects dreary!
And forward, though I cannot see,
I guess and fear!
John Steinbeck got the title from this poem.
The best laid plans of mice and men oft go astray.

Gulp. Was that commentary on my upcoming new venture

?!
I'm an early bird with you this morning, Lion; a fine day to you, sir!
On the contrary, see the last stanza in poem above.
Furthermore, since the book was written in 1937 and based on Steinbecks own experiences before and during the great depression, I think many will relate to it. Are we headed in that direction now?
You can do it, Beckums, 'cause YOU ROCK!!!
