Glad to hear that you had fun last night. We have a re-building vape meet every month in Toronto, and it's also become all about cloud chasing. I'm probably the only one there on a regular basis that has coils in the 1.5+ ohm range. The average would be below .5 ohm. Now that being said, we have a HUGE emphasis on safety. The meet is hosted by one of Toronto's oldest vendors, and the folks that are assisting newbies with their coils work for this vendor. So, they make sure to educate rookies about what batteries to use, the dangers of sub-ohm vaping etc etc.

It's a nice place to hang out and meet folks. The same vendor also has a monthly Karaoke meet and a Snooker/Pool meet. I try my best to make atleast one of them.

If you have the room, you should think about setting up a monthly vape meet at the store, Adam.

Like when the battery blew up in a waitress's face over in the UK. There will always be extremes in any habit/hobby. I just think we need to be a little more cognizant of how we represent vaping. For a lot of people it is something they truly need to kick a debilitating addiction. Guys blowing out cumulus clouds tend to make people take vaping less serious.

Then you have the guys like my wife's coworker. The office allowed vaping of small cig-a-likes and Esmart style set ups in personal offices for a while. Then one guy decided he was going to bring in an APV shaped like a light saber handle and start blowing clouds. To make matters worse he was using a tobacco flavor that left a nasty room note. He was asked to quit and his response was, "well you let other people vape." So, now nobody can vape in the building and the HR department decided to "... no longer recognize any difference between traditional cigarettes and electronic alternatives." So, now you can't even vape on the property.

Adam and Heather have lots of great ideas for the site that we talked about. Now I get to help them get 'er done so they can focus on the important job of making more amazing e-liquid.
