After 5-1/2 tanks of juice on the Cubis (3.5 ml each), almost 20 ml of juice, and just over two days of usage, I finally got it down to where the battery gauges are empty and flashing on me, telling me that I should recharge the batteries. However, the Cuboid is still firing fine. Once the vape finally started to feel a little weaker, I took the batteries out and put it in the charger. The voltage measured out at 3.15 volts. This mod definitely squeezes out every last bit of usable juice out of a battery.

Obviously if I was using it at 80 or 100 watts instead of 30 and 40 watts, the batteries wouldn't last as long, but this mod can definitely last an entire day of usage if this was your only mod and you're not cloud chasing with some insane super sub ohm build with low gauge wire.

I also tested out using the USB port to charge the batteries. They work, but I suspect that the charge rating is very low. I had it plugged in using my phone charger in the car and although I was pass though vaping at the time, I did not notice any increase in the battery gauge level

That's impressive! Thank you for the update. Battery life is a huge deal to me and it sounds like the Cubis is way up there in that respect. I also love that it takes the batteries down that far before the need to recharge. I am interested in finding out how long it takes to recharge the battery via USB. Not necessarily from completely dead, but from when it has about 1/4 charge left on it. I love to be able to vape and charge and I charge this way with my mods that allow it. :)

Nope, I have 2 chargers on a power strip next to me. At least one of them is charging a mod at any given time, lol. Since I am obviously charging a mod (or mods!) that are currently being used, I need to be able to vape on them occasionally while they are being recharged. All but 2 of my mods allow me to do this. :)

Hmmm, a glow in the dark mod cover

Last stinkie 10/15/2013
Yep! To match my glow-in-the-dark drip tip, because sometimes the little glow the drip tip gives off is not enough for me to be able to find my way to my bed after I turn out the light. I don't want to accidentally squish mah mod while crawling into bed! :D

They need to stop putting charging ports on the bottom of mods!

still is pretty good for two batteries J.I can zip through a 3000 Mah in a couple hours,or less @30-40 watts. On the pass through ya may not notice the "sticks movin" because of the drain of vaping it in pass through. That's how it worked,or should say didn't work for me.

Hey everyone, Merry Christmas Eve!!

This year (2015) is a crazy year for e-cigarette tech evolvement. More and more manufacturers start to step into the temp control area. Hundreds of TC mods are presented to vape consumers. However, we found that a bunch of vapers still in the vape stone age. To help more vapers to evolve on this road, Heaven Gifts decides to give away 4 sets of Joyetech Cubis Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml + 150W Joyetech Cuboid TC Express Kit W/O Battery combos.

To enter this contest:

1. Tag 2 of your vape friends and invite them to join the contest.
2. Share your experience with any Temp Control devices. If you have not used any Temp Device, it is OK, just share your experience with any e-cigarette gadget (You can also share your vape devices/your coil builds pics)
(Multiple shares are appreciated)

All vaping friends are welcome to join this event and we will reward all participants with a $10USD gift card to be added to your Heaven Gifts account.

We will choose 4 winners according to your shares.

For the 4 winners, we will select:
1 vape rookie who is still using ego/vv/cigarette like devices
1 vape veteran who has affluent coil rebuild experience and starts to try Temp Control devices
2 vape masters who are familiar with TEMP CONTROL Ni/Ti/NiFe/SS coils and have affluent coil rebuild experience, even tried TCR function

Hence we can collect feedback from different kinds of vapers.

Requirements:
Winners must share vape experience with SS316 coils of Joyetech Cubis Tank and Temp Control functions of Joyetech Cuboid mods. If possible, winners can try the TCR function of Joyetech Cuboid mods and share the TCR experience here.

----------A few of knowledge you should know about Joyetech Cubis+Cuboid Combo----------

Joyetech Cubis Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml, a bottom feeding tank. Coil replacement and juice filling of Joyetech Cubis can be achieved by unscrewing this top cap. The design of it is inspired by a whisky cup. Juice will not flood while replacing coils. BF SS316 coils totally imported from European manufacturer have been applied on Joyetech Cubis to go with not only TEMP SS mode, VW mode, VT mode but also TCR mode.

@thayamax

Come check out the contest!

I own or have used several Temperature Control devices: Reuleaux, Yihi SX M class, Kangside KSD J2, Wismec Pressa 75w, 2 Lost Vape Esquares, Joyetech Evic-vtc, Pioneer4You IPV4S, XVOStick to name a few and if I went through my son's gear, I could probably add another 5 to that list. The Reuleaux and IPV4S belong to son but am familiar with them. It was the Evic-VTC kits that I bought for family members for Christmas this past year... 4 and everyone absolutely loves them. I have 7 family members that vape so lots of gear and sharing of both gear and info.

I have 2 Lemo2 tanks and a Uwell Crown tank (have the rebuildable coil heads) currently set up for TC.

TC has made a real difference in my vaping. I am a little choo choo train chain puffer and it tends to make normal tanks flood and not heated enough to keep the wick from gunking up and burning. Some tanks still tend to flood a little on me but have had no burning issues since TC. In fact, one juice I dearly love but gave up on because I couldn't get through a tank without it burning (Shamrock Shake), I have done 120 ml though the TC coii head and it is still clean and am ready to start another 120 ml bottle. Before TC, pretty much the only tanks I used were the Origen Genesis V2 MK2 and the Smok RSST Genesis style tanks because they are easily built with wire mesh so 120 ml of any juice in any tank for me is simply amazing.

+1 Red, the charge port should be near the bottom so it's less tippy but not on the bottom.
The USB port on the Cuboid is on the short side to the left of the display, right at the top. This actually works well plugged in in the car. The mod can sit in the cup holder plugged into the charger.

I've been looking at some of the posters here and the pictures they put up of the many different mods they have and I wonder why so many? Unless they are some kind of mutants that have more then one mouth? LOL I have 2 devices a Copper something mechanical mod which I've used for almost 2 years exclusively and Today my brand new Joyetech Cuboid showed up and for now my Copper something mechanical mod has been retired packed up and put away most likely to be sold on Ebay. I also have 3 RDA's 2 of them are clones and one of the clones is a 4 dollar POS but around 4 months ago I went out and purchased a OEM RDA called Twisted Messes I like it, it works pretty good and now with this new Cuboid it works great I am happy I purchased this Cuboid. My point is I only have one mouth I can use at a time which means I can only use one mod at a time so it may take me 20 or 30 years before I will be able to take a picture of more than just 2 devices.

I was a two and a half pack a day smoker 2 years and 6 days ago when I quit
Ive noticed we all have different systems of vaping and organizing our vaping. When I first started i had an ego and within a week it died. I had to wait a few days to take it back and get another but i smoked like a chimney while waiting. I then decided to order a back up incase something like that happened again and I got a innokin itaste vv3.about a year later both died within days of each other and I went back to a pack a day and stayed that way for over six months. So my experience has told me I need back ups for back ups.

I also discovered that no one juice is good enough for me. The more variety I have the less I smoke. So i have 4 to five tanks in rotation every single day. I get up decide what fruit, tea, fruity menthol, bakery, and tobacco im going to vape today and I stick a tank in each mod and go on about my day. This has allowed me to cut my smoking by more than half. I have 13 juices that i love and usually pick from them and special juices for when I really want something different like rose or ginger. I also only stick certain kinds of juices in certain tanks because of taste. Im a finicky vapor.. But that's why I have lots of mods, lots of tanks, and lots of juices although I only have one mouth. It works for me. Annnd of course I like pimpin my stuff to match whatever.

So....that didn't last long. The Cuboid mod stopped working. I took the batteries out this afternoon to recharge them. When they were fully charged, I put the batteries back into the mod and now the mod no longer detects the batteries being there. With the batteries in the mod, if I plug in a USB charger, the screen lights up and adjustments work, I just can't fire the mod. The battery level gauges shows empty.

If I press the fire button (and this is with batteries inserted into the mod), check battery shows up on the screen.

Under the battery door, there is a spring loaded metal pin that is in the space between the two batteries (see picture below). I believe that this pin is required in order to complete the electrical connection. Either this pin has failed (the spring is working fine) or because it is so close to the edge that it is connecting to the black plastic on the hinge rather than the bottom battery plate.

I know it is not faulty batteries, as I have tried using the mod with 4 different sets of batteries and I am getting the same error.

I like colours and mixing and matching my gear to my colour of the week. I tend to get multiples of mods I like in different colours. And also I like collecting [emoji14]
I love how silicone covers feel but they never make decorative ones only plain colors.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that. :( I assume you are sending "Vera" a PM to see if you can get that resolved?

I'm perplexed about the Cubis tank. The coil is a SS 316L coil, and it worked great on the Cuboid and works great on the evic VTC Mini in the SS316 TC mode. However, I put the same tank on my DNA200, loaded the 316L profile from Steam Engine, and the vape is extremely anemic. It never produces any vapor and almost immediately temperature protection kicks on and drops the wattage to 5 watts. It works better using the SS 304 profile although it runs a bit hot. I also tried it on the SS 430 profile and that runs even hotter. Well, it least it works well on the evic VTC Mini. I wonder what the TCR is set for in the factory SS 316 profile?
