As a follow up, I put the Cubis tank onto my XCube 2, set it into SS mode, adjusted the TCR to 0.000879 (the TCR rating for SS 316L according to Steam Engine) and tried vaping on it. It works like a charm and vapes the same as it did on the Cuboid and the evic VTC Mini. So it appears the issue I am having using the Cubis on a DNA 200 is related to the TCR curve from Steam Engine. It appears that I'm not the only one having problems using SS 316 on a DNA200, it seems lots of people have the same problem.I'm perplexed about the Cubis tank. The coil is a SS 316L coil, and it worked great on the Cuboid and works great on the evic VTC Mini in the SS316 TC mode. However, I put the same tank on my DNA200, loaded the 316L profile from Steam Engine, and the vape is extremely anemic. It never produces any vapor and almost immediately temperature protection kicks on and drops the wattage to 5 watts. It works better using the SS 304 profile although it runs a bit hot. I also tried it on the SS 430 profile and that runs even hotter. Well, it least it works well on the evic VTC Mini. I wonder what the TCR is set for in the factory SS 316 profile?
