I'm perplexed about the Cubis tank. The coil is a SS 316L coil, and it worked great on the Cuboid and works great on the evic VTC Mini in the SS316 TC mode. However, I put the same tank on my DNA200, loaded the 316L profile from Steam Engine, and the vape is extremely anemic. It never produces any vapor and almost immediately temperature protection kicks on and drops the wattage to 5 watts. It works better using the SS 304 profile although it runs a bit hot. I also tried it on the SS 430 profile and that runs even hotter. Well, it least it works well on the evic VTC Mini. I wonder what the TCR is set for in the factory SS 316 profile?
As a follow up, I put the Cubis tank onto my XCube 2, set it into SS mode, adjusted the TCR to 0.000879 (the TCR rating for SS 316L according to Steam Engine) and tried vaping on it. It works like a charm and vapes the same as it did on the Cuboid and the evic VTC Mini. So it appears the issue I am having using the Cubis on a DNA 200 is related to the TCR curve from Steam Engine. It appears that I'm not the only one having problems using SS 316 on a DNA200, it seems lots of people have the same problem.

Well... Look on the bright side: You got the mod for free! But hopefully future reviewers don't have the same issue. There is always a bad one in the batch with all electronics! Me and my sister went in on 3 of those kindle tablets during black friday (the ones that were $30 bucks during black friday) and gave them away as gifts... When our niece opened hers on christmas it was dead on arrival and the other two worked but 1 has already been brought back to me because it's no longer working either! So that's 2 out of 3 that don't work and it's not even been long since christmas lol

Wow, I will try the cubis on cuboid with the TCR setting.

Oh, I'm not complaining. The Cubis works fine in TC mode in another mod (one that was also made by Joyetech, so that would be expected) and a second mod (the XCube 2). Just reporting that I could not get the SS coils to work properly in TC mode on a DNA 200 mod (and I have three different DNA 200 mods and I've tried it on all three).

As for the malfunctioning Cuboid mod, Evan has already said that he would work with me to get a warranty replacement. And to show how much I do like this mod, if I can't get a warranty replacement, I may purchase a replacement myself.

I also bought 3 for gifts this Christmas! So far all 3 of them work perfectly, which shocked me. And I spent $35 each on mine, lol! :D I did get warranties on all of them, though, so they will probably all continue to work perfectly until the extended warranties expire.

Yeah. I guess it's just bad luck, but I did notice that the one that died a week later had a lot of dead pixels and they already replaced the DOA one. The replacement is still working, but I have to send the second dead one back still.
