Heed the PT Warning!

I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else:
I was sitting at my computer yesterday vaping off my PT, the one that came with my initial order back in Dec., I began to notice the switch wasn't working as good as it used to. Well, I set it down after a few puffs and a couple minutes later I smelled something burning. I looked down just in time to see the decal begin melting on the cart and the little white mouthpiece melt out of the end. The switch had stuck on and kept burning the cart. I just filled it too.

I try not to forget to unplug it when I leave the room but I'm human and tend to forget. I would hate to think about what would have happened if I left the room for a while.

This is not a complaint as I'm aware these things are not made to last forever.
I just want to alert everyone that if the switch on your PT is acting up, be wary and unplug it when your done or throw it out and order another.

Needles to say I ordered a couple of the new ones and hopefully these will be better.

All new ones have new cutoffs, and are completely overhauled, ans well as improved. You will love em

On my way to order one right now. I keep forgetting to unplug, too! I'm pretty good about it, but that is not good enough.

well, I am having to flick the end every time I take a drag to shut it off. So I guess mine is going to. I have had it less than a month. I don't refill, so I know it is not juice messing it up.

The old ones have had issues,thats why they had new and improved ones made.

uhh, im thinking anyone who owns an old one needs to mail it back to whoever they purchased it from. And whoever sold them should ASK for them back (like a recall) as this could be a very serious fire hazard.

a recall is done by a manufacturer, not the retailer. the packaging plainly states not to leave it plugged in unattended. The V4L people have given me more than enough freebies to pay for the PT. I will just purchase the new model the next time I order.
