hi can anyone help me to authenticate if my hellfire shorty is the original one as i paid a big sum for it. The reason i am asking is because the only way of me refilling my shorty is to use a syringe and inject the juice in, but i saw multiple reviews other people shorty have a plug that can be taken out so refilling makes it much easier. Thanks in advance

When you pop the cap there is a hole in the top to fill that is the only way to do it. Here is a pic of a authentic one, but to my knowledge there is not a clone yet. I do think that bung in the top comes out, not sure if its threaded or not probably is.

Try cutting the nozzle off of an eliquid bottle. They make decent plugs. If you find the right one, it will let air into the tank but won't let liquids leak out. Plugging up a gennie completely may hinder wicking - depending on the kind of wick you use. Straw wicks may not need another air intake - but they may leak on their own. Depends on sizes of holes and liquid viscosity. If you get it juust right, a gennie can be the most leak-free atty there is. May take some experimentation to find the right plug/wick and balance of air in/wicking and leakiness. Preferably none of the latter. :)

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I know of at least one Shorty clone from Italy.

I got a look at one - the guy who bought it was less than impressed. The fill plug was not the same as the authentic. It was removable, but with great difficulty. My main concern with the clone I saw, was the 510 being a dead short waiting to happen.
