Hello all, just another newb saying hello.

Hello ECF this is my fist post because like many others it seems, about a year ago I found out about e-cigs, but was unfortunate enough to be sucked in by Blu. Gave it a far shot, but was very unsatisfied and about a month later was done with it. About a month ago I caught a bad flu and when I was over it, like most long term smokers I had a very hard time shaking the cough. To make it worse blood started to show up in the cough. Needless to say this was when I really started to think about my health not just for my but for my wife and daughter. Unfortunately I lack the will to give up smoking, I've tried in the past and failed. So I took my old Blu box out and started vaping away. Still very dissatisfied. So hopped on Youtube looked up some reviews I still hadn't found out about these forums. So I ended up buying a Volcano Inferno, it arrived just today. Now I have been looking around the forum library and seems like most people are satisfied with Volcano products, and have to say Worlds Better than the Blu, I really think I have a shot this time around. I know I went off onto telling a short story but I would like to know if I some people could tell me I made a good choice with the Volcano Inferno. Money is an issue and the Inferno seemed to be a good priced kit. Again sorry for the semi long post, and thanks for reading if you made it all the way through and I under stand if you didn't make it through. Oh yeah, glad I found this community and looking forward to being a part of it.

I personally have not owned one, but have hung around many many hours in here and recall only good things about them. Way to go! Now you just have to find the right juices, atomizers and cartomizers you like best.

Welcome aboard, backer! You did make a good choice and what's more important is if you're happy with it. I think you've given yourself a great shot this time around and it wouldn't surprise me if you stop smoking! I know that I tried all kinds of things to quit smoking and nothing worked, so I gave up on quitting. I really thought I'd be a slave to cigarettes until they killed me. A coworker of mine started vaping and he let me try his little e-cig. I liked it enough that I thought it might be a good alternative for us. Our lease has a "no indoor smoking" clause and we were tired of smoking in the garage and freezing our butts off in the winter.We bought Green Smoke e-cigs and well, the Green Smoke sucked, so I started doing more research and that lead me here. We bought Riva starter kits and sent the Green Smoke back for a refund. The day I got the Riva was the first day I quit smoking. It wasn't planned. It just happened. I vaped my head off and loved it! I became an "accidental quitter" and I haven't looked back since.

Yes, welcome. I haven't tried the Volcano either, but if it works for you the it was a good choice. Whatever keeps us off the analogs is a good thing. I started with a 510 kit and moved on to the eGo and then a low end mod. Good luck in your search for your "sweet spot".

Hi and Welcome to ECF ! I haven't used this brand either but have heard good things! Hang in there you can do it! I smoked 30 years and my wife about the same! I smoked 50 - 60 a day and was able to quit on the 3rd day! My mom smoked 50 years and did it also!
Don't feel to bad about the blu because if nothing else it opened your mind to the possibilty of quitting smoking! I got hosed on my first PV but the road took me to the right place! You will find your sweet spot with the right combo of equipment and juices!
This forum is amazing with the amount of information and experiences available so you came to the right place!

Wow thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I wasn't expecting a response so quickly. I really hope this works out for me and anyone that tries it. Everyone is right I'm going to really try and commit myself to only vaping, it's not fun knowing you're pretty much ruining your own body and failing to do anything about it. Never thought about Blu opening the door to an alternative, great out look on it and i'm going to adopt it. Thanks so much everyone.

That's just how it works around here. There's almost always someone logged on, so quick responses are common.

You're going to feel so much better after only a few days of vaping! You still get your nic fix minus the other 4000 harmful and deadly chemicals, your lungs will clear up and heal, your breathing will improve and your skin color will stop looking ashen! My gums are actually PINK for the first time in decades! My doctors are ecstatic that I've quit smoking. It's wonderful! No more stinky hair, clothes, house or car.

Vaping also opens up a world of flavor! You aren't going to get Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble from a stinky.

Hi there backer! Good for you in deciding to take control of your health. Lots of people here will be happy to give you some great advice. Only concern I would have is if your doctor didn't give a green light to the coughing up blood bit, you might want to revisit that with your doctor just to be safe.

i also havent tried volcano products... or really even know where to look at em. im satisfied with my ego and juices from mrs t's bakery. bublegum is my new daily vape... and im sad to day i actually ran out and am waiting for an order.

Although I have not yet tried the Inferno, I do have the regular Volcano (the itty bitty one) and I love it. This product and the carts/attys are very nice and I am very happy with them.

Thanks for the advice everyone, It's funny, I have Ms T's open in another tab. Any recommendations, I'm not looking for tobacco flavors, I tasted that for years, and also any other sites I should look into? I'm looking for something, how should I put this... frugal, I guess would be the word, but don't want to sacrifice on quality. Right now I'm looking at mixing my own, seems to be the least costly method and I'm looking at myfreedomsmokes.com they have Unflavored Nic Juice 60ml for $20, haven't see a better price and what seems like all the accessories I would need to get started for around 40-50 dollars, minus the flavors, still don't know the best prices for those. Oh and Doctor gave me the ok on E-Cigs said anything would be better than analogs at this point of course he prefers I don't smoke or vape anything but don't think I could make that jump yet. By the way I was about 1 pack a day smoker for about close to 15 years, got started pretty young so I'm also looking for something with a good throat hit but nothing I would choke on. Heading off to bed, so I'll check in tomorrow. Thanks in advance everyone.
