Sorry i haven't been posting on the forum for awhile, but i just started a new job after being out of work for over a year. Thank yoy all for your prayers. I am still vaping (15 months now) and have been analogue free the whole time.
I look back at the time of unemployment as a time i got to know the Lord better as i read much and prayed a lot! I grew much closer to Jesus and am glad i had the opportunity to do so.
I hope everyone of you is well and the Lord is blessing you all.
I had to idea the had an "Atheist Forum" on here! I just have one question for them: " If evolution is real, why are there STILL fish and gorillas" LOL

Congrats on getting back to work. But it sounds like your time unemployed was a blessing and time well spent.

I've often wondered the same thing about evolution. But please, don't feed or tease the atheists. It's not nice. Enjoying the sound of their heads exploding whilst they try to come up with an answer to a perfectly logical question........ schadenfreude is not a Christian trait. At least, that is what my husband always tells me. Me, I like to frustrate feminists. It is so easy and so fun, but probably bad to enjoy it so much.

About evolution -if you have Netflix, check out these videos Netflix: Rent as many movies as you want for only $8.99 a month! Free Trial there are three in the series and they are all available streaming. I was absolutely amazed!

Hello Robert!

It's nice to see you back! Praise God you found a new job!! It sounds like being out of work turned out to be a blessing in your walk with the Lord!! It's definitely not easy, but I believe going through hard times helps us mature in Him, strengthens our faith, and allows God's grace to continually manifest in our lives. Hallelujah!!

As far as the athiest group, I pray for them! I believe there are people who try to understand God and His Word intellectually, and become disillusioned when their questions aren't answered. If someone seeks Him in faith--His Word says He draws them to Him, and answers those questions.
I welcome anyone here who is sincere in seeking Him, but it's counterproductive to be drawn into debates, or heated discussions. Unfortunately, I think there are people who try to cause dissension, and strife. In the past, it's happened here as well. But we try our best to see that it doesn't happen anymore.

Praise the Lord, Robert!!!! What a blessing that you are working once again. Even in this economy, the Lord continues to bless. You know it has to ruffle the feathers of the unsaved. I am so sorry it took this long, but God has to set everything in motion and it does take time. In the meantime, we learn from the Great Teacher.....even if the lessons are a bit uncomfortable. But, you came out on the other side victorious! Glory to God! I am proud for you!

Of course you don't mean to be offensive. I'm sure none of us do, we're just talking about obvious facts - God exists, the sky is blue, water is wet, etc. It is just that atheists get so offended by even the simplest comment from a believer. They seem to be offended by the very thought of God. That is why I call them anti-theists (against God) instead of atheists (don't believe in God.) You can't be offended by something you know doesn't exist.

Never apologize for standing with the Lord. You were making a statement, not attacking. A true Christian cannot conceive life without the Lord. To us, it's obvious. The unsaved have scales on their eyes. I was once among them. We want them to have everlasting life in Heaven along with us, as we can't conceive eternity separated from Him. That alone is torment to us. We knew and understood your meaning in your post. You are among the brethern, Robert.
