Hello all,

I'm proud to say that's it's been over 6 months since my girl friend and I smoked our last analog cigs.

Our story…One day a good friend of mine brought us a pair of BLU deposable cigs we tried them out and never looked back.

From there I purchased an EGO-T and an EGO twist battery and started on the path to get something that actually worked for us more then 24 hours. Had a really hard time with everything. Tried several brands of tanks / Juices / Atomizer…you name it…over 500 bucks worth in the first 2 months…was getting so frustrated that I almost went back to analogs.

Problems I was having was mostly leaking, burning issues, dry hits, etc. I decided to try my hand at and modify one of my T-2 tanks / Atomizers and think I’ve successfully solved at least most of the problems.

I know there are better, more expensive tanks out there, but with the mods I’ve made to the T-2’s I’m good with them. They are performing as good as any other stock tank I’ve tried and I‘ve tried a few.

In the past few months I’ve rebuilt several T-2 Tanks and Atomizers, I’ve developed a few tools and jigs for doing the job that really work great and would like to share (not sure which forum to post it in) I’m certainly not as experienced or dedicated as some in this forum but may just have a few good ideas to share.

Anyway…just wanted to join in, say hi, and mention that this forum and it’s members have been a great source of information for me and I wanted to take this time to thank you.

Your not being very specific by just saying a $2 carto. I tried several cartos and still had problems. Leaking down the air hole, juice in the mouth, burnt taste after a day or so. I found that most of these things work great the first day or so then go down the tubes quickly. I prefer the tank system for a few reasons. I don't mind tinkering with these things, learned a lot and was able to create something that vaps really nice. Didn't cost much, just a few bucks and some tinker time.

Thanks for the welcome.

Well done, im at the beginning of my cig free quest myself, second day without. I have been vaping for 2 months but have had issues with the cessation of holding and flipping the ashes. But gratz to you and lowering your nic content as well.

Thank you so much and good luck to you as well. Truth is, as I mentioned in my first post, it was really hard at first and I almost gave up. My biggest problem was finding something that I truly enjoyed vaping with the least amount of issues. I'm Truly thankful for the information that I was able to get out of this forum. I was able to rebuild my T-2 into something that vapes like a freight train. This made it real easy to start on zero nic because the smoke production was tremendous. Basically I use the stock atomizer body and have replaced the silica wicks with vegetable grade cheese cloth and am making my own coils from 36 gauge A-1 Kanthal wire. This is definitely the best combo I found for taste and smoke production. I find it kinda cool to play around with these things to make something that fits my personal needs.
