Hi all, have found this forum and it seems to be a wealth of information, not all (most) of it I understand yet!!

I have bought myself an e-lite, and am doing ok with it (I have now found out this probably wasn't the best bet, but hey it was cheap!), but I would like to be able to start looking at flavoured liquids and the like, any excuse to spend!

i have found a Titan tank compact starter kit, and Tornado starter kit that I quite like the look of, but not really sure I understand the differences.

Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Lol, should just add a bit more :) For starters, don't go for a compact kit as they only come with one battery.

The 510T's batteries are only about 180mAH the Riva (ego/Tornado) batteries in my above link are 1100mAh. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last before needing to be recharged.

IMHO, starter kits with only one battery are as useless as a chocolate tea pot :(

The Riva is very easy to fill & refill with e-liquid. You just drip juice straight from a bottle into the stuffing inside the cartridges (mouthpieces).

Mel, if you go for the Riva in my link (or anything else from Vape Escape) use discount code allabout for 10% off & if you order before 3pm, there is a good chance you will recieve your order tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice this far, is there anything else I should be considering before I take the plunge and spend more money?

Does it make any difference that I have always smoked rollies rather than cigarettes up to now? I haven't been smoking many recently, only really 4 or 5 a day, down to 1 a day now (plus some slightly rubbish vaping with the e-lite). How do I know what strength nicotine I should be looking at? It's a whole fascinating world of confusion right now!!

:?:

As you are only a very light smoker, it would be best for you to go for a low strength nicotine juice.

If anything, I've found that folks who used to roll there own, have found it really easy to convert to using e-cigs as they where already used to an element of faffing :D

Congrats on your first ecig! Nothing to add because the starter hardware advice has already been great, but one suggestion from personal experience -- be sure to drink plenty of water. I found that vaping is a bit more drying to the respiratory system than smoking and I get congested/sore throat if I let myself get dehydrated.

Oh, and keep q-tips, toothpicks and a micro screwdriver or some other tiny but minimally bendy metal rod around. I've never had an ecig setup that didn't require me to use at least 2 of those on occasion. :D
