Hello and advice on shipping woe

Oh yeah. I love an actual camera, and have a couple, but as they say, the best equipment for a good photo is what you have with you. ;-) Here's a downsized image; I keep my camera settings on highest res and the original is huge. My kid bro and I went on a photo hike in Yosemite a couple of years ago. He lugged along his big rig, his long lenses, and a tripod. I had my trusty old OnePlus6T in my hip pocket. Guess who owned the Big Valley that day? LOL!

Greetings all; I'm glad to be here, and hope I can eventually contribute something useful, as I'm sure I'll learn a lot. After 30+ years of smoking, I followed a family member's lead to vaping and I've never looked back. Even after nearly 10 years, having a REAL sense of smell still has exciting moments (granted, exciting doesn't always mean pleasant...).

As someone who never wants to go back to cigarettes, but is absolutely not ready to give up vaping, I'm frustrated by the screws being put to the vaping community, in so many ways. The latest is shipping. I live due south of BFE, which is near a swamp in southeast VA. Buying online has been my lifeline when I can't get into town, which is more often than not. VaporFi just stopped shipping to my zip code, so now I'm on the hunt for other online vendors that can deliver.

I started with V-2 ecigs, and still use my V-2 batteries with MigVapor carts. I'll never forgive V-2 for going abruptly Tango Uniform, because they were great and I miss 'em. ;-P I joined the bluNation and was reasonably content until they pulled their products from all my local retailers and later stopped online sales (brilliant!). I thought I'd found a safe harbour last year with the MigVapor line on VaporFi, but looks like I'm back to scrounging menthol JUULs from gas station kiosks. I actually had a dream the other night that I was smoking Marlboro Reds. It was awful.

Thanks to all who made it through all that!

I can't help but wonder if we knew each other, back in the days of the old V2 Forum. I still get a ton of emails every day from a GMail group they started when V2 finally shut it all down. V2 was my springboard too, just about 10 years ago this very moment, in fact.

I still see emails from China, so that should be a viable option, no? I purchased from MyVaporStore recently, if that helps at all.

    Anyway - welcome to ECF!

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I forgot. TheMagicMist sells various cigalikes with various threadings, branded with their own name, but they aren't cheap. The ones they sell with the same threading as V2, they call "vertigo".

    https://www.themagicmist.com/V2CIGS-compatible-s/69.htm

Realize that they will not have "sealed" positive pins. They have the hole down the middle. But IMHO, those unsealed batts work a lot better. You just have to be more careful and wipe your cart's connection every so often.
