Hey! My name is Daniel.

I ran across a Kiosk in Las Vegas selling Smoke51 E-cigs, and I was really interested! I tried to get a hit from the lady that had her "sample unit" smoking it all over the place, but she wasnt having it, so at $150 a kit and no taste of the goods, I dcided to do my own research about the company, and I decided not to go with it.

Fast forward 7 months later, i see an ad for the blu e-cig. I check it out, do some research, and i'm farly impressed! I decided to take the plunge with this model. $60 for all you get, it's still awesome even for a medeocre model. I do also plan on buying some liquid and cut up some tea bags to replace the polyester fill.

Well, I ordered from the website, and put in all my info, and it says "address could not be verified" Well, I decided to go on my bank's website to make sure everything was kosher, and they had already taken the money out of my account!!:-x

Okay, so I check my account on the site and it tells me I have not made any purchases!!:-x:-x

So does this mean they have taken my money and just ran with it? If they have no confirmation, and I have no confirmation, does that mean the bank is the only one that has proof the transaction has taken place???

If I were you I'd call their Customer Service number, and reference your name and order. There CSRs seem to want to help...

Not to give you more bad news, but there is a whole other thread (search for blu cigs), and you'll find that Blu is quite behind on orders at the moment. So if you just ordered today, you will likely be waiting awhile...

But I do know that my order from 05/22 is backordered, and no money has been taken from my account yet. Supposedly, Blu doesn't final authorize your card until they ship. If you used a debit card, then you may find the funds "pending" at your bank, until it drops off again...but that is typical of what happens with a debit card at a lot of places. Once the vendor finalizes the transaction, then the debit charge will show in your posted transactions. This is the whole reason I always check in to a Hotel with an actual credit card, and then change it and use my debit when checking out...

I read about the backorder issue, and I have no problem or issue with waiting. I'm a patient man. I just want to know if they have acknowledged my order on their end.

I would be calling the CSRs, but there is an issue with the cell towers around my house, and i'm dropping calls every 5 minutes, so no dice on that until I can solve my cell problems, as I have no home phone.

i'm glad that the money is just pending, but it's still money that's tied up in my account. eh, oh well.

Going back and forth between the bank and bluecig company, and The bank is doing everything they can to make things right, but bluecig is giving me the runaround, telling me my address is incorrect, even AFTER I had updated everything and had the bank take off the extra hold on my account.

If they can't take a simple order, then I think I want to take my business elsewhere. anyone know of a comparable starter kit for around $60-65?

60-65 is pretty expensive for a e-cig of unknown quality and so far blucig doesnt sound too great. Check out ruyandirect.com and order directly from China. They have tons of models, parts, accessories, and flavors of juice, I've made one order with them so far and have been quite impressed. It took 6 days from shipment to recieving it in Canada. There are a few more in China, Eastmall being one of the others. You can order from one of the many vendors in the states with a good rep on the forum - check out the vendor forums on the main forum menu.

I ordered two models off the bat: the dse 901 and m401. Both are excellent and produce nice vapor. Do yourself a favor and get some juice with your first e-cig. I made the mistake of thinking the 5 carts included would last a long tim but they lasted me about 2 days :rolleyes:.

Anyways, just read the stickies and do a couple of searches :thumb:

BLUCIG UPDATE!

I called the bank last night to get the hold taken off of my account, and they were helpful as always in that. I had it taken off with the stipulation that if they decided to charge me, the transaction would go through without any pending period

Well, i was confident that it wouldn't go through anyhow. After all, they have no confirmation and no record of a purchase being made. Fine with me. I decided to put my money into something else I have been needing anyway, and went to sleep.

The next morning I see ANOTHER PENDING TRANSACTION from Blu Ecig, this time completely without my authorization, and now my account is overdrawn. Of coarse the billing dept. doesn't work on weekends and there is no supervisor on call on weekends either. Convenient. At this point I start to lose my cool, but I keep it together just long enough for "Crystal" to put a note on my account stating that I no longer want this order, that there was a hold on my account made without my authorization, and that they WILL be paying any overdraft fees that may occur. I am not happy with this experience.

Steer very clear of this company. I would not say they are scam artists, but they definitely do NOT have their act together for a professional company!

Uh no..now I'm really worried!!! Today I purchased from Blucigs and now see TWO pending charges on my account for the ONE product I ordered. I called them, but its the weekend, and I cant get through. Hoping I can get this cleared up, but your story doesn't make me feel optimistic!

Blu only verifies the card is valid and the funds are available. We do not actually charge the card until the product is shipped. Your bank is holding the funds to be claimed. You will need to contact them as to how long they will hold them...This is a VERY new product for the company and we're adjusting to the traffic, but its a pretty good product if you bare with it.

dude cancel your order get somthing better. my blu kit is geting sent back in the morning..... it was great while it lasted..... you can read what happned to me. it was a small electrical fire killed everything

super bad quality control!!! customer service is ok though if you get the right person. if one gives you **** hang up and get another one

it actually took less. . . . While charging my batteries I noticed that the charger light would go from red to blue then back to red. It happens with both of them, So I contacted blu CS and told them what was going on and asked if it was normal. They sad no, that I had to call in to fill out some form to return my batteries for a replacement. When I asked if it was going to take three weeks and was told no it wouldn't, but I think it will, so I told them if they could send me the new batteries first and then I'd send them the old ones back, then we could talk otherwise I'm just going to return it. They went for it but I'm calling in the morning, it is too late now. Either way I ordered a Joye 306A kit, from CigTechs, today and it shipped TODAY. If it wasn't for the holiday this weekend I'd probably have it by saturday, but Monday will do.

They put it through to your bank sort of as a hold. You'll see it disappear in about a week and a half. Surprised me too, I kept sweating them taking it out and giving my bank the cause to get an over draft fee from me. I'd seriously cancel the order and get yourself a 510. The company right now is very behind again and the product need refinement as far as I'm concerned.
