Hello boys and girls,

My name is quite obvious really. i've been using ecigs on and off the last 4 or so years. i've recently invested in an RCS V3 and i use cherry VG juice from Liberty Flights. I've just bought 6 30ml bottles but i've used an arry tank before and ended up giving it up because of wicking issues after a couple of days.

The first couple of days it was fine but now i'm having to tip it or refill it before it's even half empty because of wicking issues.

does anyone else have this problem? and has anyone found a good solution to it or VG/PG mix that wicks well in these devices. ideally i'd like to use the liquid i've bought as it's a good month of vaping's worth there. I did get a free bottle of blueberry pg liquid from the totally wicked vapours lounge which wickedquite well without tipping and it's quite nice. But i don't really want to spend anymore money for a while as also bought the joyetech eVic so have spent a fair old whack this month already.

Many many thanks for reading,

Ash

I dont own an rcs, but as with any clearomizer, tipping comes almost as a package deal. You can always thin your juice with 5% distilled water or rebuild your wick though.

Also, i use a solution that is almost primal when i vape 100% VG in my Novas: leave it on top of a heating vent between hits. The heat will thin your juice and make wicking easier.

Tipping with top coil wicks unfortunately is a necessary evil. I have not come across any, that did not have to be tipped. There are some articles that stated the Iclear 30 wouldn't need it; I discovered differently. I have not had any personal experience with bottom coil wicks, however the kanger evod has been getting nice reviews. They are pretty cheap too. Seen em as low as $4.99.

As for carto tanks, as stated above, more punches can help. Personally I slot mine with a dremmel tool. 2 slots, one slot on each side, and it has never failed me with boge cartos.

Hope that helps. Good luck finding what works for you!

Seriously? I am using a three punch method and it is working well however I am using 50/50 occasionally but primarily 60% to 80% pg. When the Boba's and Gorilla juice arrives I may have to break out the dremel. What percentage of vg are you using?

I have found the carto tanks unreliable. they clog up quickly, they leak and ive never had 2 carto's whose performance wmatched the others.

i have been using the ego-c's for a while but i just get fed up of refilling them and they also clog up quickly with VG. i havent got one to last more than a week.

I used some smokeymizers a couple of years ago which were quite nice to vape on with the bottom loading coil but the tiny little rubber bung they required were a pain in backside. and they leaked.

i just wish someone would come up with a tank system that works well, all the time. i also find it very difficult to get reviews on new products that have advice for people that use 100% vg liquid.

thanks for the advice on thinning it down. i find PG quite abbrasive on my throat. i have asthma and pg seems to crank it up like real ciggarettes did toward the end of the day. except it happens all day lol.

How often have you found using 100% VG you have to change the atomiser? if you're anything like me i imagine it's quite a bitmore frequently than people that use pg...
