Hello ECF!! :p

I've been a PAD smoker for 6 years, and just recently decided to try out e cigs and see if they were right for me. My first mistake was I bought a Blu starter kit as my first. After putting up with the poor customer service and waiting for two weeks to actually recieve the kit, I was not satisfied with the vapor production, or the unit in general. Even after the atty was broken in, it just seemed like a sub par unit.

I was dissapointed and was about to give the idea of an e cig up alltogether, but then I found this forum anf after reading through some of the posts, quickly realized that the Blu was just not one of the best out there. (Sorry to those who love the Blu, this is just my personal opinion here)

After digging through the forums here trying to find the right e cig for myself I finally decided on the Volcano Magma 510. I just got it to day, and even with a brand new not broken in atty, and just stock carts, i have to say it is leagues above the Blu, and I'm loving it.

I regret every purchasing the Blu, and the $60 left me short on spending money =/, so i was only able to purchase one batt, one atty and some carts for the magma. The Blu is packed and ready to ship now, and hopefully soon, I can purchase some new toys for my 510, and start trying out different juices, dripping, modding and start making my vaping even more satisfying.

Thank you to all the wonderful people (and the not so wonderful  jk.) people here at ECF who helped me kick the analog, and discover the joy of vaping.

Welcome
Well you are very lucky because I spent almost $200 getting started with the safecig and then almost another $200 on smoke51 (not a bad product just had to fill so much) before I found this forum. It really though goes much beyond money because now that i am more content with the way i vape i still spend more money trying different things and juices
Good Luck

Welcome to ECF! Quite a few of us have similar stories, myself included. My boyfriend and I shelled out over $300 on GreenSmokes before finding ECF. I'm sure glad we did. We are now the proud owners of eGo's, which we love and I have a 510 PT, which keeps me sane in front of my computer. We're both thinking about getting eGo PT's now. The GreenSmokes were sent back for a refund and we'll chalk up what we don't get back as a lesson learned.

This is a really good place with supportive, helpful people. I think you'll really like it here!

Welcome Jim K and congrats on kicking cigs- yes you will find a lot of info here that will prevent you from buying junk! But if you are like some of us this site will also help you spend money. I was happy w/my 510, then wanted an eGo. Got eGo wanted, whistle tips, LR atty's, Drip tips, Extra batteries, LR Mega cartomizers, CE-2 cartos, juice and more juice. Happy with that stuff wanted a mod, ordered Pro Vape on Friday. Already looking at variable voltage mods and the Pro Vape hasn't even shown up. Started having packages sent to the office so I don't have to hear "you got ANOTHER package today" from my wife. Welcome to your new hobby and happy vaping

Yeah, I'm doing the same thing, just got my magma a few days ago now, and I'm already looking at an ego or Riva. I need to order more batteries anyway, and I don't like how the magma batts only last me about an hour before they just don't put out the vapor anymore.

But even though they may not be saving me quite as much money as I originally thought, I'm still gald I made the switch to a PV. Havent had a analog for awhile now.

Once you get settled in, you'll see that you aren't spending as much money as you did on analogs. I've got my PT and my eGo and extra supplies for those. Now I'm just going through the juice sampling stage to see what I like and what I'll always keep on hand. I've been eyeballing Mega atty's and carts, and looking at the CE-2's, but those can wait until later. Right now, I'm in in Vaper Heaven with what I have and I just want to focus on finishing school. Only two more weeks! YAY!
