Well I have been reading and reading many of the threads across ECF for the last couple of months and even started an account just last month, but have yet to have posted anywhere on the forums . Well I have been away from analogs for about a month now after smoking 1-1/2 PAD for 15 years and it has been surprisingly easy so far (for myself) while vaping. I have been able to find a lot of answers and suggestions from many members around here and was able to rightfully make my initial decision and subsequent decisions as far as starting points and purchases go. I guess I just wanted to thank all of the contributing members here at ECF for taking the time to share your knowledge with each and every new member and seasoned veteran here as well as making the world of vaping a sound and comfortable place to be!

Hi and Welcome PitBoss! Everyone that I've met over the months I've been a part of the ECF has been amazing. There truly are some outstanding folks here.

Congrats on your success with quitting analogs! Make sure to post what's working for you so that other new people can read. It's always good to see what's working.

I appreciate the welcomes! I honestly would have to say that my STRONG desire to quit smoking without leaving the nic behind is what works, lol. My fiancé and have been trying to quit for the last few months (primarily for health) and it so happens that I am "out of sight, out of mind" quitter, and she preferred to have them available, but not touch them (who does that?!) Needless to say, that was not working for us. I had heard about e-cigs, or PVs, and threw out that option because I would have gadgetry and DIY to look forward to :D We started with the Ego-C systems as an "introduction" to the PV world for what she calls "simplicity" and a decent supply of Mister-E-Liquids and have not looked back! I quickly ordered a 3.7v mod as well as a LT to play around with to see where my vaping passion(s) will sit at outside of an Ego. I have to say that so far I am personally overwhelmed by what I have seen and tried, and will never look back to handing my money over to big tobacco! I will also say that I am getting into DIY liquids already and even thinking about building my own mods (even with my limited electronic background) and the money saved by all of this is icing on the cake.

Welcome PitBoss. Glad to hear you found something that works, and ECF is an awesome community to share with others.

I too am finding this to be a neat little hobby, have already experimented with the DIY Liquids. There is a great forum here under Tips & Tricks that I dont know if you can read yet.. but when you get a few more posts under your belt go over and check them out. (You may be able to read them now.. I really can't recall!)

DIY E-Liquid & E-Liquid Recipes

Welcome!

Ahh yes..I have been reading through the DIY threads for a while now. Was actually catching up on the VZ super concentrated flavours thread until about 100 and some pages later I decided to go ahead and submit my first post, lol! Sissylala, I don't suppose you have any simple tricks or advice for a beginner DIY? I have the ratios down for the most part (I hope) but have only experimented a little here and there so I am still unfamiliar with it. On another note (and this goes for the lot of you), all of the avatar pictures of your dogs are wayyyy too cute!

Well you will have to let me know how your first attempt goes. I have only managed to do a few single flavor mixes with 12mg nic and luckily i prefer a 50/50 mix, so it's been "easy" for me so far..again that's what I believe as of yet. Good taste, good vapor and I don't feel nauseated, lol..so something is going right!

I have to ask, what are there names? Are they purebred?
